So, to be clear, you won’t willingly donate. You first want a breakdown of how much money David spends on Peroni and hair grooming products.

i-Ram reacted to Steve Bloomer's Washing in PODCAST INTERVIEW: Quantuma
    Evening all

We've had a 20-minute conversation this afternoon with Derby's administrators Quantuma, which is out now as a podcast.

Chris spoke at length to Quantuma CEO Carl Jackson to get an update on Derby County's administration process and the quest to find new buyers for the club.
In their first non-club interview since Derby's -21 points deduction was confirmed, we discussed a number of key issues with the administrators, including how Derby's process has been compared to other companies they deal with (2:06), which interested party is furthest along in the takeover process (9:06), how likely it is that Derby may have to sell players in January (14:55), and how they feel about fans' fears of the club being liquidated (18:48).
There are a few nuggets in there (ie, Quantuma were contacted by a new potential bidder as recently as this morning) but some issues which clearly Carl Jackson can't get drawn on in detail.

Anyway - hope you find it interesting.

    Cheers
    Chris

Sounds like pure spite. Ooh I'm in! But wait... there's a proper process for this and just like @iRam I think The Queen may have other things to do!

    https://www.gov.uk/guidance/having-honours-taken-away-forfeiture#can-honours-be-removed
What is the process for forfeiture?
Recommendations to remove honours are considered by the Forfeiture Committee. Each case is considered individually. The Committee’s recommendations for forfeiture are submitted through the Prime Minister to the Queen. If the Queen gives her approval, a notice of forfeiture is usually placed in the London Gazette.
What is the role of the Forfeiture Committee?
The Forfeiture Committee considers cases put to it when the holder of an honour has brought the honours system into disrepute. Examples include if an individual:
has been found guilty by the courts of a criminal offence and sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than three months
has been censured or struck off by the relevant regulatory authority or professional body, for actions or failures to act, especially which are directly relevant to the granting of the honour
    has been found guilty by the courts of a criminal offence covered by the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (England and Wales), Sexual Offences Order 2008 (Northern Ireland) or Sexual Offences Act 2009 (Scotland);
has been found to have committed a sexual act which is listed in the Acts above following a ‘trial of the facts’.
But the Committee is not restricted to these two criteria, and any case can be considered where there is evidence to suggest that the retention of an honour would bring the honours system into disrepute.
The Committee is not an investigatory body – it does not decide whether or not someone is guilty or innocent of a particular act. Instead, it reflects the findings of official investigations and makes a recommendation of whether or not the honours system has been brought into disrepute.

    You've lost me there.
As long as it's not libellous and not breaching rules about personal attacks, I don't mind posts that say exactly what people feel about the actions of Mel. I doubt many people are pleased with our position. I hold him responsible for at least 12 of those points. I still don't see why he couldn't have brought down the wage bill, ridden out the covid restrictions, paid our debts and given back the ground. It would have cost him an absolute fortune but that's the results of the gambles he's put in place - gambles which nobody forced him to take. To walk away unscathed is highly dishonourable, in my opinion.

I rarely use the angry emoji, in fact, I just checked how often I have used it and it turns out I’ve used it four times since they were introduced. I can’t confirm when that was, suffice to say, it was a fair while ago.
I used it in this instance because I objected to your post telling people what they should post and when. It might be boring to you but as new information comes to light, and today, the BBC were running an article about us owing 29 million quid (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59358676) people should be free to make reference to this news and the person responsible for allowing it to occur.
Secondly, and you were the unfortunate to be on the receiving end of my mood at that moment, I had been sickened by the “David, can you tell me how to donate, I want to donate a hundred quid/David I’d like to know if the direct debit I’ve set up is enough? kind of posts I’d read just prior to reading your post.
Ive donated to the running costs of the forum in the past, even bought a dcfcfans tee shirt with the most ridiculous rams head logo I’ve ever seen because I thought it might be supporting the forum, but I never made an issue over either, that was between me and the proprietor of the forum.
So, while I stand by the reaction I gave your post, another day I might have just rolled my eyes and thought “who does he think he is telling people what and when to post” I do concede what I’d read just prior to reading your post probably influenced my thinking.

i-Ram reacted to RAM1966 in Mel Morris fan club
A director of football would have made zero difference, just a pointless wage.  Morris would have interferred, he micromanaged the whole downfall at every level at the club.
He would not and did not take advice from thise around him, clearly he's not listened to Pearce regarding spending and budgets, had he of done so Pearce would of been sacked for the financial mess we were in.
Look at the amount of companies set up, closed etc.  All to aviod falling fowl of FFP P&S.  Good knows how long its going to take to sort this mess out.
I think with the Midlesborough and Wycombe legal action on going, there is a real danger that some if not all of the buyers may pull out.  Don't get me wrong, I do not think there is a cat in hells chance either will be successful, but, it could well put off potential buyers.  Investors do not like risk and £51m in claims against is is a huge risk.....
Regarding Morris, as somone has already alluded to, the final act over the ground would be a very telling sign as to hiw much he cares about the fans and the club.  Morris should really of place PPS into the melting pot when he put the club in admin.  If he had an ounce of decency, if he gets any money back at all he should give to the local businesses/creditors creditors that may be at risk of going out if business.  He should also enurse that loyal ex-employees recieve a decent redundancy package.....
I just hope that the punishments are now over and tge EFL do not come sniffing around looking for more thing to punish us for diring the remainder of the 3 year P&S cycle we are currently in.
    Rant over

@i-RamFWIW, I still believe that it was a valid reason for going into administration.
The lost £20m would have been used to pay HMRC and then the main creditor would have been MSD who I assume would not have put us in administration.
I think its definitely a convenient way for MM to jump ship though, despite his previous promises that he would continue funding us until a buyer came along.

Matchday 18 – Saturday 20th November 1971 & Sheffield Utd were the visitors to the BBG
The Blades had a fantastic start to the season as a newly promoted club & led the division until mid-October – an impact not unlike Derby’s first season back in 1969/70. Although they had slipped off the summit since then, they came into the game in 4th place & only behind the Rams on goal average..

Pre-match Cloughie column ignores the game & gives his views on Muhammad Ali (or Cassius Clay as he insists on calling him) & politics instead…

    Derby’s win kept them in 2nd place, goal average keeping them ahead of Man City who won at West Ham. Man Utd won again also, beating Leicester to keep the gap over Derby to 3 points;
