Yes and with a couple of additional signings and a few wins with a team that was only put together approx 6 weeks ago, we will get better, I'm not going to state we will the league, but I'm convinced we will get better. The fixtures have not been kind to us, playing against sides at home that will probably be in the the top half of the table. With the last 2 away games being against teams we should get 3 points against, especially if we come up against them later in the season. Providing we don't have a massive injury list, we will be up there. Also lets not forget, we are the big club in the league that every team will raise their game against.

At this early stage of the season, the key is to firstly to keep it tight at the back, avoid defeat and then build on that as the season progresses. I think that we’re doing ok considering we have virtually a new team. It was never going to come good overnight.

Only saw the highlights and read the text commentary ( was at a wedding) jees how many chances ?

hey, we came away with a point at an away game, another day and we’d be looking at 2 or 3 nil. It’s got to be seen as one of those days. Thing I like is reading “Roseignors slick Derby” and seeing the number of shots, close shaves and a clearly dominant side. It will come good. Patience lads. A couple of wins and Collins off the mark and confidence will soar as will the fear factor. How did we look on playing out from the back ? Were we a bit slow and sideways again or is it looking more purposeful?

Fozzie rolling crosses in from the left at will today, especially in the first half. Collins hasn’t seen that before in anger and wasn’t in the right place. That’ll change

Just under 5 weeks ago we had 5 players, this virtually new squad will take time to gel and get better. Steve Cotterill's teams are always hard to score against, even last season they only conceded 51 goals even though they finished in 18th position. The fixtures have not been kind to us, having played up until tonights game against teams that finished in the top half of the table barring Barnsley who came down with us. Rams fans please have faith, it's a long season and not a sprint.

Wonder if that will temper some of the more ridiculous comments on here tonight? 3 points off top, only four games gone, lost 1 game, still building a team from scratch… and somehow, the world is ending.

LR should have got some of that magic powder which makes a brand new football team into Man City, 5 games this squad has played together, Cotterills teams just let you have the ball and hit you on the break, Yes we had the lions share of the ball...but people this is not a sprint it'll take time.
There will be more games like this...posters have said "it's some teams Cup Final" when they play us, LR will have to find a way of breaking teams like this down, An away point at Shrewsbury doesn't fill all with enthusiasm but it's a point.
    No complaints from me...?

Let's not forget, 4 weeks ago we only had 5 players. I believe, the more we play and train throughout this season, the better we will get. Liam has got hold of some quality players in the 13 he has brought in so far. I hope we do find another right back, because Knight would have a field day in this division playing in midfield.

Thing I’ve noticed in the few games I’ve watched this season is that we are not punished as much for mistakes playing out as the quality of opponents is less deadly

Form is temporary, class is permanent. We are a Championship quality team playing in League 1. We didn’t get relegated based on performance throughout the season but because of the penalty points deducted. We have Championship quality players playing in League 1 who’s class will shine through over time. I expect us to dominate this league over 46 games. I hope I’m right!!! ???

I think it's just a trickle down affect. The more passing football, tika taka, gegenpress etc etc is at the top, the more it flows down through the pyramid. We've seen it in the Championship, from the days where Swansea were just about the only proper passing team to now the overwhelming majority being passing teams. Same is happening further down, just with a few more exceptions each league down. I go to watch Belper Town a lot, and whilst they're still playing like Bolton and Stoke 15 years ago, there's a hell of a lot of teams playing it out from the back at that level too.
So yeah, I think we will certainly come up against some s******** teams, but the idea the league is full of them is a bit archaic and repeated by fans who haven't really watched the league.

Taste buds did'nt improve much then, get some Real Ale down your neck. It was the Watney's Red barrel that forced 4 young men to form Camra (campaign for real ale). They wanted to stop the tasteless weak keg beers from pushing Cask beers out of the pubs. Just another fact: Watney's Red Barrel was not launched until 1971 and ceased being brewed by Sleeman breweries in 1997. But about 6 years ago a brewery in Belguim called Alken-Maes brought out a Lager called Watney's Red Barrel at 5.2% abv.
