I said exactly the same after the Man City game. I have all the time in the world for a manager that tries to play good football. If the manager actively chooses to play terrible football, because he thinks it will help him win, but then loses anyway, then he deserves all the criticism coming his way.

You need to read my statement again Tyler, it was a reply to another which stated "Warne would get us promotion but not this season" I was taking the mick by stating we would get promotion from League two, at the same time pointing out we are closer to a relegation place than an automatic promotion place.

My first experience of Warne-ball and I’m not convinced by it. Looks like a lot of hoof and case. Just bypass the midfield and hope for second balls. Maybe it will look a bit better when Collins comes back in, but that was well below what I’d expect from Derby. I don’t think we can have any complaints about losing that, as we offered nothing - Ipswich better in all departments.
I like Warne the man, but I’m already getting a feeling that he’s the wrong man for the job. It’s only been five/six games so I will give him more time, but things have to improve quickly if we have any aspirations of the play offs.  

As I feared under this manager. We cannot play against any team who plays semi decent football. Ipswich haven’t had to get out 2nd gear to win tonight. We have created nothing apart from the last 5mins. Didn’t once test the goalkeeper. All of sudden, we can’t string 2 passes together. What once was our strength is now our clear weakness. Good old negative tactics to bring on another midfielder for a striker at 0 0 too. 2nd half was embarrassing. Conceded yet another penalty. Great save by Wildsmith. What a find he is.
Horrible football to watch. I haven’t seen us control a game since the change of manager. Even when we’ve won, it’s been a game of ping pong. The opposition always seem to create decent chances against us because we’ve resorted to hopeless passes into the space and running like headless chickens. It’s a too extreme change of style and they aren’t adapting yet. 
Call me a miserable sod, I thought we was building a semi decent side earlier in the season. Now we look pretty rough without a clue what to do on the football. We’ve won a couple of away games recently, I can’t understand why I’m not so enthusiastic by them performances. Something isn’t sitting right with me at the minute.

If they're not his players, why is he here now? We signed an entirely whole new squad just 3 months ago.
Why didn't we recruit a manager for the players we have, rather than bring in a manager who can't work with the 16 new faces who arrived merely a handful of weeks ago?

Can we just skip to that bit where we realise we’ve made a terrible mistake and fire Warne please.  This squad of players is *never* going to work with his style of football, and we don’t have the financial capacity to build an entirely new squad. And quite frankly, I don’t want him building an entirely new squad to play turgid hoofball.

And A manager change

Not calling for his head, but don’t think he’s the right man for the job. He’s come to a big club with a small club mentality.

Much the best thing all round. Had he stayed Liam would have known it was undermining Warne's position. Plus we need to break away from the way of playing that has been ingrained in the players, and we couldn't do that with Rosenior remaining at the club.
He leaves amicably, with thanks, with his stock pretty high. I would argue Derby were his experimental project and we could not afford to be his experimental project, but I understand he will also have thought he was doing the best thing for the club.
Look forward to seeing where Warney takes the team, and following where Rosenior's career goes from here.

Anything less than a top 6 finish in my eyes would mean the wrong call by David Clowes and the board. Also if we did get promoted, Paul Warne's record in the Championship is crap. I hope I'm proved wrong, but I think they have made the wrong decision.

Pathetic ! So a bean counting civil servant at the palace floated a dumb idea to ministers .. translated as “shock horror Queen asks for hand out”. You really have dredged the depths of the Daily Mail Gutter and the One eyed Grauniad with aplomb. Take a bow.
 
 

This is professionell football .. I trust no one. 

A lot of if's but's and maybe's. We, with a little luck could have won away at Fleetwood, Shrewsbury and Charlton. Iffy decisions on a penalty and 2 disallowed goals at Lincoln. Plymouth's 2nd goal a good yard offside. We could have been looking at 9 additional points on our current total. I wonder what Clowes and the board would have done in them circumstances.

David Clowes took over the business from his father. I would suspect there is people in company that have continued to run the business on the same track that his dad ran it.

I wish I could spoke to clows I would told to hold fire give laim a chance at it.
