Were down to one or two saleable assets right now, players left for peanuts and our academy was completely stripped. It's going to take a few years to build the academy and also be in the market for players with a sell on value. Personally I'd be patient for another 2/3 seasons.

We'll be run completely differently even after all the restrictions are lifted. Gone are the big transfer fees, DC won't want to make the same mistakes Mel made, we'll be run as a shrewd business, frees loans and small fees for the foreseeable.

I miss the togetherness and that unbelievable energy around the place when we nearly went bust. We should feel lucky we still have a club and get behind the lads and whichever manager is in charge at the time. Going to be a good few years before we're settled financially, enjoy the fact we still have games to watch, mistakes will happen as will losses but one day we'll be back enjoy the ride Saturday's could've been a lot different if it wasn't for DC!

Lyle Taylor for me we need a **** house wind up merchant in the team.

Its shocking all round, the industrial estate just after the velodrome is a nightmare too, everyone ques down one lane to get out but no traffic ever comes in to the estate at that time down the other lane, they should have martials letting cars go from both sides.

If we can use the funds to sign a proper striker and a prem loan then it’s fine by me. 

Pretty sure I remember a home interview during covid with Max and he had Man United stuff in his room, although he's a Derby lad I dont think he "supports" the Rams, he might not have as much of a bond to us as some think and want to go elsewhere during his career. 

Love that footballs back, what on earth did we all do for 3 months without this drama, 9 months left to go, let's be having you!

We looked good pre season until those two sloppy United goals. Is it a confidence thing? Couple of wins and clean sheets will make all the difference. Need some exciting loan players in quick though.

Yeah agreed I think he'll be a good player if he does it in the right places and releases when he should.

We look dreadful at the back and that's where we thought we'd strengthened the most, long old season this will be.

Championship agents still using us to get their players more money, we are massive.

This makes so much sense we’ll struggle to find anyone that will play for the shirt as much as he will, especially playing for his son! Double figures in this league easy.

Prem teams will be naming their squads this week at the end of pre season, expect us to start seeing more names linked for loans.

I think alot of people have quickly forgotten how close we were to going bust. The fact there was limited potential buyers for a club that has 30k gates, premier league training facilities etc should tell you just how much of a financial mess MM left us in.

The best thing DC can do imo is continue working to a strict budget over the next couple of years, then either look to sell or bring on investors once the balance sheets are properly sorted.
