Imo yes …he didn’t impress me at SW end of season but I do think if the deal is good for both parties and doesn’t take up much of our budget he’s still a powerful strong CB and it’s a long season with a lot of games and the squad will count more than just the starting 11

That's still not evidence... You're basically saying ''I wouldn't have liked to be talked about, the way Warne talked about White''... but you're not everyone, and not everyone will agree. Harvey might have received an outpouring of support from his teammates off the back of the comment once they realised he was feeling bad... WE DON'T KNOW.
You can't just go off and say it's bad management when you don't have the slightest clue how it's affecting the players though!

You are again portraying your personal opinion of Warne as fact. You don’t like how much he talks, that’s your opinion, there’s no evidence you can offer that Warne’s style of management is damaging to his relationship with players.
You said he can’t attract loans of youngsters from prem clubs, people have pointed out he did and now you’re changing your statement to say it needs to be a player with experience in the championship and league one. I don’t know them all off the top of my head but if we look at his signings at Rotherham I wonder where they came from?
You say McGoldrick was very settled here and imply the reason he isn’t signing again is Warne, yet Warne is the manager who played him for the majority of the season, there are interview quotes from both men that back up the positive experience of last season and little to nothing that suggests there is a problem between them. Only McGoldrick and the club know what’s taking the time for a decision to be made, could be wages, playing time, recruitment plans, style of play, wanting to play for Notts County before he retires etc etc.
Finally your comment about cloggers, Warne didn’t recruit cloggers with his limited options in January. His Rotherham team wasn’t all cloggers, the likes of Wing, Barlaser, Ogbene, Wiles, Ladapo, Crooks could all play a little.
Warne is by no means flawless, he’s got some things he needs to improve this season for us to be successful, none of that necessarily equates to the opinion you’re peddling as fact.

Completely get your point, but by the very same token looking at players like Sonny Bradley and saying they only played X amount of games for a team who finished third in the championship and won promotion is disingenuous.
By the same token, David McGoldrick played only 19 times for Sheffield United last season and scored just two goals. In fact, he didn’t make a single matchday squad in their last 18 games due to injuries and selection.

Someone who's scored 43 goals in over two seasons in league one in a poor side is exactly the type we need.
Warne says he wants players between 25-30 and whilst he's at the top end of that he can clearly finish. We more than likely will be playing a 352 next season so we need at least 4 strikers and having 2 of last season's top scorers in the ranks will surely be a good thing.
We're in League One and we need good league one players and he's one of them.

Vyner would be an excellent signing, assuming Warne is sticking with the back three. Fits perfectly on the right side of the three and can cover rwb if needed. Latiibeaudiere and Kalas would be good shouts but will probably get Championship deals. Sonny Bradley coming straight in as captain makes a great deal of sense to me. Without King Curt, we don't have a leader in the team and he'd fit the bill.
But then again, you could make a good case for us signing any defender on the market because we have one natural CB in the squad...

Some interesting options being released by Coventry:
Fankaty Dabo - right wing back - 28 - player of the year in their league one promotion season 2019/20
plus Todd Kane (RB, age 29), Sean Maguire (#10, age 29) & Tyler Walker (#9, age 26) who could all be decent squad options.

I wouldn’t be against bird being sold for a decent fee, is a nice footballer but has a really limited impact on games. Is also pretty weak without the ball, no great pace or energy, tackling not great.

I’d assume any player from non league would be a developmental option, rather than an outright starter. He had a bad game in the final, but unfortunately we simply can’t be in the market for players who don’t have bad games. He’s had a few good seasons, technical ability doesn’t look to be a problem, perhaps he will need to step it up with regards to strength and conditioning.
If he signs, we will find out but we need options all over the pitch and depth. If he can provide some depth and an option of the bench in tight games and not completely disappoint then he will have been half decent for a free signing from non-league. Anyone with any sort of expectations of him, however, need to temper them immediately because it’s not fair.

Surprised this is the first time we’ve been linked with him. Almost a nailed on certainty he comes here - meant to have a good relationship with Warne.
He actually started last season really well until Warne left Rotherham and then performances went downhill, for whatever reason. A good signing on a free.
If we can get Harding, Bradley and Cashin as our centre backs next season then it’s a decent base to build from.

Really? We need to replace McGee, Stearman, Chester, Davies, Roberts, White, Dobbin & Springett/Osula to get back to the smallest squad in the league. That's eight signings
I would guess we will sign somewhere in the region of 10-14 players for the first team, with a further 10-12 for the U21 side. All in, I wouldn't be surprised if the club make more than 30 signings at all levels this offseason.

DCFC1388 reacted to Kernow in The competition for the 23/24 season
Just to make things clear very early, this isn't a post to say we're going to "piss the league" or win it easily, but looking at the sides we will be facing this coming season, it looks like the league is a lot lower in quality than usual. There's obviously still two unknown spots, but I think if we can get the recruitment right, and the kind of players that Warne wants, we really shouldn't be aiming for anything below the top 2.
The three relegated sides are very poor, I don't really see an awful lot of threat from any of them. Wigan are already on -4 and will probably have the suspended deduction applied too with the way they're going. Reading are just Reading, and Blackpool might be there or thereabouts but are hardly a frightening proposition.
I'm not exactly sure what our odds were by the first game of last season, but I think we were something like 4th or 5th favourites? We're currently the most likely with Sky Bet to win the league at 6/1 and they reckon that Posh and Bolton will be our nearest challengers, which is probably about right. Whoever loses out of Barnsley and Wednesday will also be strong next season, although I'd give us a much better chance if Wednesday did win the final.
Other than that, you look at the teams coming up and the teams who were also in the top half and I really didn't see much in Portsmouth, Charlton, Wycombe etc. to indicate that they're preparing themselves for a real challenge next year.
It may of course all change in the next couple of months, we might be overly confident of a title winning season, breaking the points record, or we might struggle to get the players we need and hope to make the top 6.
I think we're now in a position where we can put the troubles of our financial issues and administration behind us. We can recruit players with a bigger financial pull, better facilities, better fanbase and better history than pretty much every other club, and have a manager who will know what kind of characters can get out of this division. It's not guaranteed success, but I can't see there being much better an opportunity than this year. Last year showed me that there is a real divide between the better sides and the poor sides in this league. I think the division will get bigger, there's just fewer better sides than there were last season.
