I think Korey Smith & Ward would make sense.
Ward is currently struggling to get off weak benches so when players return he wont even make the bench, he is 3rd choice RB so if him going on loan means we can bring in another attacking player on loan it makes alot of sense.
With Smith, he is out of contract and is looking likely to be battling it out to be 4th choice centre mid with Fornah. If he goes & it means we can bring in a more box to box centre mid like Arblaster or similar ilk then again it makes sense.

Not sure if its been said elsewhere or if anyone would even know the answer, but could/are TJJ wages covered by insurance whilst he is injured meaning we could now bring in 2 players? It seems likely he will be out for a good while now.
I know years ago under Clement we did when Hughes & Bryson got injured & im sure it was said earlier this season that Washingtons wages are covered due to him being injured on international duty, might have been Dom Dietrich who said that.

Sounds like there is only enough in the pot for 1 more loan which Warne is right in targetting a striker. We are short on numbers there, midfield we have numbers just short on balance.
I can see at least 1 of Smith, Fornah & Sibley leaving on loan meaning we can bring in replacements.

Plain & simple, Bird isnt good enough.
We need another centre midfielder for sure, maybe even 2.

Cant see CBT coming straight im from the start, Barkhuizen hasnt been too bad lately so CBT fresh off the bench could be good...
Vickers - Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder - Bird Hourihane Thompson - NML Collins Barkhuizen
Wildsmith Bradley Ward Fornah Sibley CBT TJJ

As a few have said, we need to make sure we dont expect too much too soon from him.
One thing fans & journos have said is when at Charlton, teams used to have to double up on him. Currently they try to do that to NML, so with CBT in the team they wont be able to double up on both of them meaning 1 will be in space to cause some damage....or if they do, that will create alot of space for others....so this may mean he doesnt have the impact we may think he will in goals & assists but may play a part in an increase from other areas.

he would have certainly added more pace to the squad - maybe a deal we go back to in Jan
Glad we have gone back in for him & got it completed....exactly the type of player we need, decent age too

Surely this only goes through when we have signed another striker

John-JulesPurely because I think Sibbo and TJJ could make an exciting attacking partnership and when better to try it out than against a team low on confidence.
So you're dropping our top scorer & in form striker with 4 goals in the last 3 league games, in a difficult away game?

Anybody else worried about this one? Past experience is that we always seem to have our pants down when it comes to transfers. I don’t like paying a fee for somebody in the last six months of their contract. I’m also worried that it’s not in the area of the field that I feel needs improving. oh well, I suppose that we have to get one transfer right eventually😀.
How can you not think we need another fast winger? If NML got injured we would be in trouble.
His stats are as good as NML's this season.
He is at the right age, will be pretty cheap (in football terms) & has all the attributes we are crying out for.

I can see Warne going to a back 3 for this game woth Bradley in for TJJ as the only change to the 11 -
3421/343: Vickers - Nelson Bradley Cashin - Wilson Bird Hourihane Elder - Barkhuizen NML - Collins
Wildsmith Ward Smith Thompson Fornah Sibley TJJ
Personally id bring Wildsmith back in the starting 11 but dont think it will happen.

Confirmed original bid was 200k, then 250k rejected start of last week...
-
Moxon would be a very good signing, he is 25 so a decent age & out of contract in the summer so I think Carlisle would accept a bid of a few 100k - they got him on a free so would be making a profit
-
Warne confirming TJJ is staying until the end of the season, its a done deal.

The ideal scenario would probably be 3 in, 2 out (Smith & Ward).
Get in a centre mid (Arblaster/Moxon), a centre forward (Smith/Mubama) then maybe someone who can play out wide & in the 10 (Olakigbe)
Would give us a better balance in the squad. Warne did mention maybe 1 or 2 out & offers being in.
