Really like Matt. Classy player. Doubt I have seen a championship defender with his level of composure and confidence on the ball at his relatively young age. Would love to have him in our team. He de panics tight situations with style. ?

Fair play to him. He deserves to play in a side that can realistically win promotion next year. I’m not sure he will ever play for Brighton in the Premier League, but he’s a very good player at this level.

This is when we need a good scouting network/set up...we have no money and we're not after players on big wages and fees etc we need a scouting team who can unearth some talent without it costing a fortune.
Jagielka is not a player scouts need to get involved with as most know him ...what I'd like to see is us signing a few players no one has heard of and then them turning out to be decent signings...this virtually never happens with our inadequate scouting department 
lets have a look in Ireland and Scotland etc maybe....I don't wear this arms tied behind there back...there stipulation should be go and find some good young players from lower leagues and abroad etc if they can't do that which I doubt they can then lets get a new team in because it doesnt work 
 

Macca, in all seriousness what did Wazza do to impress outsiders looking in ? 1 win in 16 games to end the season wasn’t great was it….

But we're only weeks away from the start of the season, I wouldn't call that rushing, we've seen the effects of a poor pre season and lack of preparation, I would of thought it was important to get it done sooner, giving new signings the chance to play and train together before the season starts, but thats just my opinion 

Providing it's a one year contract (and no longer) I would be ok with Jagielka but from what I've seen over the last couple of seasons, definitely not Stearman

Isn’t this forum all about debate and differing opinions? Surely when we are linked with players the idea is to express your view, positive or negative. Or would you rather we all just said yep that will be a good signing regardless? It makes no difference once the player puts on the shirt, would get my 100 % support ?

Any chance Wazza could convince Pele to come and play for us, might fill the void upfront ?

Stearman is utter poo I’m afraid I’d rather try Buchanan there than sign him ….our scouts are the envy of the league

If we sign Richard Stearman I think I might just burst into tears, and no, not happy tears. Godawful player.

Would personally love nothing more! But I can't see us being able to afford him nor can I see him wanting to come to a club that will probably be fighting to stave off relegation with a threadbare team, sincerely hope I'm wrong though

Well I guess that now we could always try and sign him.

Looking at these proposed squads and I think we're in desperate need of a suitable CB replacement for Clarke which will be very difficult given how consistently brilliant he's been for us and our financial situation.

Blimey, I was just thinking a moment ago Mel Morris should inform MFC that Gibson is no longer welcome at Pride Park and will not be allowed entry to the stadium.

How can he be any kind of loss when he contributed nothing ...should never have been signed hope he enjoyed being paid a decent wage for doing absolutely nothing ...as much as i have sympathy for people with problems why did DCFC think it was a good idea to sign him in the first place
