Thierry Ennui got a reaction from jimtastic56 in Lee Buchanan
Buchanan being better than Bogle going forward is one of the most insane takes I've seen in this place, ever.

If I was manager of a top European side playing a system with wing backs I'd be trying to get Bogle in as a prospect.

I completely agree. Everyone hypes Buchanan up but i’ve never really been a fan. Looks so uneasy on the ball and needs to relax. His deliveries into the box and aerial ability are decent tbf, however i wouldn’t be too bothered if we sold him to get funds.
Would much rather sell him than Knight or Sibley

Sounds perfect for us, we love playing strikers like this on the wing or up top in their own

Thierry Ennui got a reaction from Carl Sagan in Man Utd Preseason, the return of the fan
Yeah, the Lawrence chance was about 50 times easier. Any professional footballer should score that really, or at the very least get it on target. I thought I'd missed something when people were saying CKR missed an open goal. Uh, no.

Thank you that, I missed it.

We're dependent on the EFL's interpretation of their own rules whether we are allowed to sign anyone. DT summarised the situation fairly well. Basically we just have to hope the Chorley game doesn't count.

I was under the impression we could sign free agents for up to a year, and loans for 6 months

Why can't we? Have I missed something?

I don't know. We simply don't know how good this guy is - we've seen him do a few flicks, score a few goals and because he's big then he's excited a few people.
17/18 - 3 goals in 27 2.Bundesliga games - 1300 minutes. 433.33 minutes per goal.
18/19 - 11 goals in 33 2.Budesliga games - 2903 minutes. 263.90 minutes per goal.
19/20 - 16 goals in 34 2.Bundesliga games - 2713 mintues. 169.56 minutes per goal.
Phillipp Hofmnan is a player with a similar record, scored more than Dursun (with the same assists last season) and when he was at Brentford he managed 4 goals in 31 Championship games.
I've seen a lot of people say they would prefer Dursun over Austin. I can see the merit in that, however Austin is a much, much safer choice in the fact he'll come with a much better goal record and a proven track record in this division over a prolonged period of time.
In the same season Dursun scored 3 goals in 27 games in the second division of German football. Austin had 7 in 24 Premier League games. In fact, Charlie Austin has the same goal ratio in the Premier League over the course of his career than Dursun does in the second division of German football.
Without knowing the finances, if you were to offer me Austin or Dursun then I would go for the former. It's a no brainer. Dursun could well prove to be better, but I think there is plenty to suggest that he's also go the potential to be much worse.

If only you'd let Mel know it's not possible to upgrade from a Mac to a PC, we'd be up by now!
I've waited 3 months to post that, btw.

Dark Souls 3 - it's good to be back. Takes all of five minutes to start being brutal.

A fair amount of the discussion on this thread focuses on tripple-A games. If anyone has any comments on some of the more "indie" games listed below, I'd love to hear. Here's what I've been playing recently:
Stardew Valley (lovely and relaxing farming game, a lot like Harvest Moon but with more heart)
Her Story (brilliant FMV game in which you piece together a murder mystery. Sam Barlow's underlying mechanic is genius)
80 Days (basically a text adventure, but has a really great sense of personality)
Cibele (charts a love story through a JRPG mechanic and a desktop)
Firewatch (not a walking simulator. A really great story, including a potential love story that is morally problematic to the player)
Papers, Please (you play as the guard at a border station/passport control, and must decide who comes through and who is turned away)
Proteus (a serene and beautiful game in which you just... wander around)
Undertale (pure genius RPG)

Kingsman- 7.5/10, great that we've got a solid flick like this coming out in February.
Avengers: AOU- 8/10, still loved it but it's not resonated like that first one.
Jurassic World- 7/10, amazed it's made so much money, it's reasonably solid and fun but not much else. The original JP's too much to live up to for ANY film though.
Terminator: Genisys- 4/10, get in the ******* sea.
Mad Max: Fury Road- 10/10, this film is genuinely important, hope to god it sets a trend for action films.
