That's more overseas scouting than we've done since nice camara and Albentosa!

Hope you have a better time out there than they had here

You should know by now not to assume all comments on the forum are factually correct. Even from those “ITK”. 😀

Assuming you mean what I think you mean then yes, you do need away membership for your 15+ games to apply.
Without away membership it doesn't matter how many games you went to.
In order to manage to get tickets for 15 away LEAGUE games last season then surely you must have had membership last season?

I'm sure this won't effect their confidence going forward. I imagine being the tournament opener can be pretty nerve wracking. I imagine they probably just wanted to keep things tight and that lead to more nerves which leads to more errors and then to even more pressure. I'm no fan, but I do feel sorry for them. An embarrassing night but just put it behind you. At the end of the day, the result might not be what they'd hoped for but they still sit top of the group with a +4 goal difference

Sometimes it's best for folk to just accept with good grace that everyone else got the joke but it went over your head (not yours obviously). Heck, it's happened to me often enough.

That’s all well and good but isn’t that just being a bit Captain Hindsight? Like you’ll be negative about him until proven otherwise, then you’ll say well done but move onto the next doubt?

Well, call me totally unambitious but I’d absolutely love more of the same from PW next season. More “consistent inconsistency” and promotion to the PL via the automatics (with a 5 point leeway) would suit me just fine. Bring it on.

Not quite sure how a team can be inconsistent throughout and average 2 points a game ? Efficient would be the word I’d use

I didn’t think I was disrespectful, just said I don’t get it, which is my opinion. Suppose I did say it’s a “little odd.”
My point is we don’t need every signing we make to have “set the world on fire”, the team and squad should be about more than the sum of its parts in my opinion. Korey Smith played a key role in the run in last season but didn’t get the glory of goals or assists as that’s not the role he was in the side to perform.
Osborn has consistently played games for his two most recent clubs at a level equal to or above where we’ve been recently. That type of experience could be beneficial to the squad as much as it could not.

EDIT - Also, regarding his contract, it was reported Wilder wanted him to stay and we’re going to trigger an extension but the prospect of a takeover meant that didn’t happen. It’s seemingly not as transparent as “them deciding he’s not required”.

You’re right, he’s not the ideal owner at all, but….. with his money, relentless drive and ambition, we’d have three back to back European trophies inside 20 years. I suppose what I’m trying to say is I’d sell my my soul for Derby to have more silverware 😂.
If it makes @Day feel better, I’ll change the sponsor to the company that keeps advertising Ukrainian singles on here In between every three posts (an ever growing market) or even the Thai women singles that often appears, though, as I’m not into promoting gambling, I better not.

Before any one claims that it’s targeted advertising let me explain. I couldn’t remember the spelling for the Chinese delicacy Mala, which lead me naively to entering “hot Asian sausage” into google. Promise 😂

The pharmacy at the Royal is an absolute disgrace - frequently making people wait for hours (including nurses!). Last time I was there, I saw an old couple absolutely distraught because they'd had to wait so long and were worried how much their car parking was going to cost. And the worst part of it is that it's a closed shop - if you're prescribed medicines by someone at the Royal, you HAVE to take your prescription to their in-house pharmacy - evene if it's something straightforward such as pain relief.....
I've also experienced similar to yourself when going for a blood test - 6 bays availabe to use, a queue of 20+ people in the corridor and yet only two nurses taking blood while another 3 stood around chatting about what had happened on Eastenders.....
There are some wonderful people in the NHS and the one-on-one care is frequently excellent, but the administrative side is horrendous. It's severly broken, but as soon as anyone dares criticise, they get shouted down by the 'wonderful NHS' fanboys and girls and acused of wanting to privatise it....

Yep, but Barnsley are a playoff side in League 1 and a regular championship side.  Wrexham are a much smaller club, despite the last 2 years.

I have been at the hospital for 9 hours with my daughter over the last two days (for booked appointments I might add, not A&E).
On Thursday she was told she needed an injection. We could either wait “a few hours” (it was already 5pm) for the pharmacy to make it up or, they’d order it and we could come back in the morning when it would be ready and waiting. Of course we chose the latter.
Needless to say, it wasn’t ready and we had to wait another 3 hours. Even when they said it was ready and they were sending a porter to collect it it still took another 40 minutes to arrive. It must be a damn long walk from the ward to the pharmacy.
Regarding A&E, I know as you say lack of rooms is a problem but so is lack of staff. I was there (Sutton Coldfield, not Derby) recently with my father in law. There was one nurse having to keep an eye on three different bays at once. And yet, in the ward where my daughter was (don’t forget, booked appointments only) there were three nurses doing not much at all. On Thursday I heard one of them say to another “we don’t have any scans booked for tomorrow. What are we going to do?” I guess it’s not as simple as it sounds but you’d think the department could “lend” a nurse to A&E (and recall her if things suddenly got busy). She might not have the specialist knowledge to do a great deal in A&E but she could have helped keep an eye on patients (in my scenario) and cleaned up the vomit etc (in your example).
I’m not blaming the nurses (except the one that it would seem failed to order the injection from the pharmacy).

Tamworthram got a reaction from Archied in Early Realistic Aspirations for 24/25
OK, so let's dissect your rationale:
    1) "We'll have a good budget" - None of us know what our budget will be but I would imagine it's not going to be particularly close to a top 6 budget. There will be 4 teams with parachute payments, some clubs kitty will be boosted by players they are able to sell, some seem to have owners more willing to splash the cash and, whilst our attendances (and therefore gate revenue) may be amongst the best, it won't be significantly bigger than a number of clubs.
    2) "We'll be an "attractive" club" - By this I assume you're suggesting good players will be tempted to sign for the club. This may well be the case but, I'm pretty sure for most players and their agents, money has the loudest voice.
    3) "We'll be an ambitious club" - I doubt very much we'll be unique in this respect. There will be several I reckon that fancy their chances at making the play offs.
    4) "A club with a "successful"  manager" - Wow, this is a bit rich coming from you. I don't think anyone would doubt that PW's success has only been proven at league 1 level to date. He has no successful track record at Championship level but many of us reckons he deserves a chance.
    5) "A manager wanting to prove himself" - I would imagine every permanent manager (if there is such a thing) wants to prove themselves.
You're right, the thread is about aspirations and top 6 should be the goal BUT you said "why can't we expect a good run at top 6". There is a difference between aspirations and expectations.
For me, the aspiration is to be up there having a good go at the top 6 but my expectation is much lower.
I know I added a smiley face to my original response but the cynic in me can't help but think that if we're not close to the top 6 by Christmas (or earlier) you'll be calling for his head on the basis that we should "expect" to be in contention for the play off places.
