What about the players? Can they hold their heads high? Genuine question as I wasn't at the game.

Shows what a quality bunch of players we must have if they have to coached to be arsed. 

I’m not a huge fan of warne, but do agree with a previous post who said they’d be very surprised if we were set up any different than on Saturday? A couple of changes shouldn’t make this much difference.
I get a good coach should be able to counter things, but I do think we’re letting a lot of players off with some really rank performances.

Torquay and Newport pushed us hard last season in the FA Cup and we got away with it. Crewe were the more effective side in the first tie for 80 minutes and once again we got out of jail.
There are only so many times you can undercook a performance against a lower placed side before you get punished.
We need a huge 45 minutes or the knives will be out for Warne again.

I still have the PM he sent me inviting me to chat with him if I needed to when my mother passed away. This news has upset me nearly as much as that sad day two years ago.

We’re not a “massive” club (depending on your definition of massive of course) and 10,000 (I doubt we’ll get very close to that number) would NOT be embarrassing for a first round replay. That’s a reflection on the appeal of the competition, in particular the early rounds, rather than the club’s fan base.
 
It is probably consistent with what similar sized clubs would get. Just take a looks at this and previous recent seasons. Even the mighty Sunderland only managed 8,600 back in 2021/22 for a Saturday kick off against a team in the division below. 
 
Respect to all those that will be there but please don’t try to shame anyone choosing not to go or not being able to attend.

Happily pop down for the game if I lived in Derby but a three hour drive, road closures and getting back about 12:30 for this type of game on a winter’s night just doesn’t appeal. Will listen on the radio 😊

One only needs to see the number of stories, comments, of those who knew him, those who met him (however brief) and those who knew of him purely online (like myself) to know the personality and character of B4.
I always found an honesty, an unwavering passion in everything he posted. Sometimes unintentionally hilarious, but always from the heart. I have posted on and off here from very near the start of the forum and through all the dark and light his belief shone through. It was only during the admin days when that belief was shaken. It was Daniel's posts that really got to me, the desperation, the need for the club to survive.
A DcfcFans legend. The kind of support I am sure many of us wish we could give the team.

A bold prediction with 30 games still to be played.

I didn’t  say the Northampton game was on a par with the Barnsley win. Of course it wasn’t but I also enjoyed the Northampton win (who wouldn’t enjoy a 4:0 win regardless of the atmosphere or quality of the opposition?). @Jayram said the Barnsley game was the first home game he’d enjoyed. I suspect he wasn’t able to make it to the Northampton game.
