That’s what football is all about and I for one won’t be giving up until it’s mathematically impossible. 

The Rush thing is strange. None of us know quite what happened and I doubt he was squeaky clean, but there are several questions which need answering before we can fully condemn him:
Why did Mel have to settle out of court and pay him compensation if he was such a villain?
If his dealings were so bad, why was this not noticed by the Chairman or the CFO?
Why did the wage bill rise significantly after he left?
If he is such a crook, why is Andy Appleby so keen to work with him again?
Personally, I have no idea either way, but I'm not sure we can condemn him purely on the words of Mel Morris.
 

I think we need a new name for Morris. I hate hearing his name now, Mel, Morris, MM. 
A bit like Rowett is know as the snake - can’t we call him something like ‘candy man’.

As I've just mentioned in another thread but I think it warrants it's own thread. 
How can the club set up virtual ticket sales? 
We have a lot of supporters who can't make the games but would support getting money into the club this way. We have a lot of football world haters that wouldn't buy virtual tickets but we have a lot of other supporters/teams that would back this and is a great way to get instant revenue that is required. 
Imagine Niall Horan sending this message out to all of his followers on Twitter or Wayne Rooney sharing this on his Facebook page. 

It could be something truly spectacular if we stay on the championship. Not unachievable though. 
For us to be able to pull off the spectacular, we need the takeover done and dusted by the January transfer window opening. 
Knight’s back, CKR is coming back, Bielik is comping back. Two huge players for Derby, and CKR to provide an upgrade on Baldock. 
We should be out of the hard embargo, able to strengthen the squad and if we’re going well then and the team is performing at top half levels then I’m sure Rooney will be able to pull a few strings and bring in some decent players on loan. 

First bit of hope we've had today for a while. I thought we'd gone, but feel like we could pull through now.

Usually the 1st thing any responsible owner would do is let his manager know, even before rushing a statement out, then again we are talking responsible.

Quite frankly I don't think there was anything wrong with Rooney's comments towards Mel.
 

At a guess, takeover being completed by Christmas, administration not being a possibility, trivial stuff like that. The blokes been used and deceived since he took over as manager and I’m guessing he only got that gig because Morris thought it would help him shift the club quicker.

Totaly agree. Rooney playing to the gallery of the press. Cheap and unnecessary. Ok he is miffed that Mel hasn't spoken but Rooney went too far.

But in the end he hadn't got the guts and/or the empathy to face up to the people he'd let down the most, the people who'd worked hardest for him. Rooney had been the man that the staff saw as Mel's mouthpiece, who they asked for answers. Answers he couldn't give. Is it any wonder Rooney has some disdain for Mel when the staff are worried about their futures and Mel just ignores them.

I will be buying an extra 3 tickets for my daughter and grand kids for the Swansea game they haven’t been since Wembley and can’t wait

Convinced a work mate to get a ticket for Reading, be his first time this season. My brother lives away now so midweek games are a struggle so mum is having his ticket. If we sell out midweek it will be impressive but it’s definitely more of a challenge. 
 
Swansea however, mum and my brothers girlfriend are going, and I’ve convinced 3 mates who haven’t been for years, 2 of whom don’t even support Derby (both glory supporters) to get tickets, that’s 5 additional tickets. 
 
I think Swansea will definitely sell out.

There's thousands of DCFC supporters that would do the same. There's also thousands of other supporters across the world that would do the same with the right backing.
