Perhaps, but he still wont sack him. He sees him as the long term answer. He’ll stick by him unless something drastic changes sadly.

I’m sorry but you’ve got no chance of Clowes sitting back and letting this play out.

He will know exactly where the supporter base is at and that isn’t going to change.

Not changing things now would have the possibility of a lot of supporters turning against the whole club and not just PW and his coaching staff.

I’m saying there is precisely zero change of change with things now they stand. Nothing has changed in that regard. Clowes will not sack Paul Warne.

So, what happens if/when he gets sacked?

Do we go back to believing Big Trav?

I hear what you're saying @ExiledinDerby about Brown not quite being ready but, in the absence of John-Jules, our striker options are Collins, Waghorn and Washington.

Surely Brown is worth a place on the bench at the very least?

Brown will head out on loan very soon just up the A61

Well I have to confess that I had a bit of a manic day yesterday, watched the game on rtv but kind of with one eye as lots going on so can’t really form a proper view of the game as a one off that I’m comfortable in putting forward but I am getting more and more disappointed, we can’t string two performances/ results together , personally I believe it’s a mix of warne and the players are not as good as we/I have believed , better players have a bit of a consistency about them and we really arnt seeing that

it matters not though as the simple fact is it’s just not happening and warne is struggling to settle at a bigger club coupled with the fact that the fans are not really taking to him , we may be at the point where it just can’t be turned around , ive said after the Exeter game that on really a run of results gets warne out of bother and I’m not sure how that’s going to come about , he seems a bit lost and going into his shell with the players also looking lost , the expectation and pressure may just be too much for warne and a fair few of these players ,

I think warne will be goon fairly soon 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just for reference @Archied this is a full stop .

Would you be saying similar if he had done fantastic and a club was trying to poach him with him screaming that we should let him go without compo for him ? Of course you wouldn’t , you would be calling him a selfish greedy Judas , whether it’s time for him to go or not is a different agreement but the reason managers and clubs sign contracts is to safeguard themselves whichever way it goes ,

    your post is absolute nonesense

I agree. Criticism and an assessment of his decisions is fine. It might actually help him (should he ever want to venture on to a message board). I was calling out those who were slating him, with one poster even suggesting he should go (too).

PW should never have been appointed in my view, but I can understand the logic of the decision. 15 months on it looks a poor decision, but who amongst us hasn’t made a few logical, but ultimately poor decisions in our lifetime.

I wonder if he is sitting at the breakfast table this morning wondering why he didn’t just retain his season ticket. I bet his Mrs is.

I’m hoping she’s packed his sandwich’s because he has a full day of interviews.

I tried sticking up for them I tried the time, I was fed up of the negativity but it’s just gone past it now for me, it’s poor

Anybody that feels this way needs to show this by not turning up on Tuesday.

    Enough is enough.

Better players though.. Say for example NC had not signed Martin…

A perspective I have is that A N Other manager will struggle the get this team to score goals due to personnel. The replacement manager will suddenly need to get Washington and Collins to not miss chances.

Keep Collins away from any first team squad. That’s what any new manager needs to start with.

I understand that when the football isn’t pretty, and the league position is dire, football fans will inevitably lash out. However, I am amazed that there are a good number on here tonight slating our owner. This is a staggering state of affairs even for our club, only some 15 months since he saved us.  Cool it down lads.

    Possibly true, but sad.

Why sad? I don’t get why it’s sad.

He’s dragging our beloved club to its knees and he’s hiding from the facts.

He needs to walk away from a club that’s already had a rough 3 years. But instead he will wait to have a good proportion of his remaining 3 years paid off and walk straight into another job.

Please don’t feel sad, feel mad instead.

For the first time in my 15 or so years of going, if my ticket was up for renewal tomorrow I highly doubt I would bother. I am dreading Tuesday. Have gone from planning holidays around home games to not caring a jot if I organise something in place of a game and let some other poor sod have my ticket.

It isn’t supposed to be like this. Get him gone - I doubt I’m alone.

I'm already at that point and I hate it - Never in my time of supporting the Rams have I felt this way.

I made my mind up after the Cambridge game and haven't been since. I will go Tuesday but only if we have a new manager in place.

Did anyone else feel that Warne has made a few comments about the club being too big. At the time they were taken as jokes and in the context of cutting away the excess fat. Making us less bloated and more lean. I always got the feeling the size of the club annoyed him, especially when he would lightly moan about DCFC loving meetings have having lots of department heads, too many staff to remember the name of etc.

Does that point to a deeper point that he just wishes we were Rotherham with more money and the fans ambitions of one day having a thriving and big club back in the Prem are silly and egotistical to him??

He's out of his depth on multiple levels.
