It will carry on just the same as it has for the last 40 years, regardless of division or results.

We've had many ups and downs during that period and I assume we will continue to have in the future.

I've just started taking my kids and I'm actually quite happy they are starting out watching us in the third tier (as I did) as in my opinion it makes you enjoy the highs, which will inevitably come in time, even more.

Its sad to see how quickly fans have turned on Warne and it appears are starting to turn on Clowes. I certainly wouldn't want them lot in the trenches with me.

And I’d be thinking that way too if my kids were just starting out watching Derby. You don’t want to put them off before getting started.

My feelings towards Warne aren’t just first team, it’s the academy too and I know he’s just not interested. He’s bringing the whole club to its knees. That might sound melodramatic but it really isn’t.

I'll stick to supporting the team.

But keep up your excellent work.

And if this carries on, how long do you plan on supporting the team/manager? Another 3 years?? Can you honestly see this changing?

Let’s not just settle for being in existence. As @CBRammette   Said earlier, walking to games isn’t enjoyable anymore. Waking up on a Saturday morning should be fun and looking forward to the game.

Theres certainly more now but it still tends to be the same 10 or 20 posters posting the same thing over and over and over again...

10 or 20?? It was that number 3 weeks ago. Luckily now it’s X4 that at least.

Don’t stop chanting for Warne out until you’re worn out. I think there’s a chant in there somewhere ready for Tuesday night.

We've got someone with the potential to be a good striker (at least at this level) sitting in the youth team unable to get a league minute. We know what we get with Collins and Waggy (who IMO are both past their best...)... why not give the unknown a chance when we obviously need to try something different... and it baffles me that PW seems so against the idea!

PW would only use the academy if the system was changed so we had an U35s team.

In fact, if the rumours are true, he watches more of the VETS teams around Derby than he does the U21s.

I really struggle to see how unless you are around the club you can be certain he has to go now.

If the players are grumbling, training looks an effort to some, the geberal vibe is low, in conversation he seems to have no explanation etc..then I'd be starting to consider it.

Two or three more poor results and I'd be pushing the door open and inviting him to consider stepping through it himself if he can't seem to show any idea about how to improve.

Less than 6 points from the next 3 games and I'd be setting clear targets and saying we can't keep trotting out the same arguments.

We are in the 'not good enough' category at the moment,  not in the last chance saloon.

Why 3 more poor results. I dont get that at all.  Has done enough damage.

He's the league 1 fraudiola. I was happy to give him until Christmas to see where we sit and then have a serious discussion or get rid if there are no improvements. But it's time for him to go before our season completely derails.

    Fraudiola. That is brilliant 🤩

Our next game on Tuesday against another "lesser team" in Exeter could set the alarm bells...I'll be looking at the attendance, Exeter will not bring that many...500 maybe, A cold winters night, A Derby team struggling, A manager under pressure...it doesn't bode too well

I want him gone before Tuesday so we can try and get 3 points. A crucial 3 points.

Folk don't KNOW what we can/can't afford but, when there's a business plan in place to which we have to adhere and the club was saying we can't afford transfer fees, it does seem to indicate that there's not much wriggle room in the budget. Not much wriggle room in what we may spend according to the business plan. What would paying PW and his staff off cost? We fans have no idea but if we guess at 20K a week for PW, 15K each for Barker and Hammy and 10K for Warrington, the keeper's coach, that's 60K a week which comes to £3.12M a year. Two and a half years left so 3,12 * 2.5 and you have £7.8M. Now, as I've said, I'm only guessing but even if their wages are only half the figures I've used, you're talking the best part of £4M to get rid. Even if we do have that kind of  money floating around, would we be allowed to spend it under the business plan? Again we don't know but it's not a daft thought that we probably can't spend that amount on compo for PW et al.

The poster to whom you replied was making a, not unreasonable, assumption, IMO.

I don’t believe we couldn’t get rid of him. But, if we can’t afford to relieve him of his duties, David Clowes would need to think long and hard why he was given a 4 year contract.

Beating Exeter on Tuesday night will have absolutely no effect on me. Warne is not the future of Derby County. Clowes's idea is collapsing infront of our eyes. Since February we have played well at Peterborough and Blackpool. Thats it. Ive no clue what Warne is all about tactically. I see players playing like they are unhappy. This squad is good enough. Time to go for Warne.

Exactly the same boat as me.

We could go and win 3-0, nothing changes the way I feel.

Sad to see the toxic atmosphere here on the forum. Many fans think we are entitled to a result every week, and don’t grasp the fact that wins have to be scraped out every game. That’s the nature of the league we are in, and the ,imitations still upon us.

yes, it was a poor game, but so what. Move on and keep supporting the team, booing and abusing the players does not help one little bit, nor will sacking the manager before half of the season has passed. The time to consider this is at the end of this season, or a little earlier if it’s obvious a play off position won’t be obtained.

    Nobody feels entitled to anything.

Paul Warne said at the start of his tenure that supporters want to see entertaining football and that’s what he wants to deliver.

He isn’t delivering on his promise on any level.

Why don’t we give him the 4 years and see where we end up.
