Stephens and fozzy would make a 10/10 for me! Stephens would be the calming “wise” head we would need in the middle of the park. Would also add height and physicality

If Beilik and knight are going then there’s definitely room for Stephens! Tommo, Bird, Horihane, and Stephens would be a quality midfield

Ashley has proven at Newcastle that he can run a steady ship, the evidence is staring blatantly in their faces and they choose a Texan who got found out by Preston months ago!

They have been nothing short of a farce! They could have informed Mel of the complication with Gibson before January, and we may have been able to keep hold of Plange, Jags, and Shinnie.

Derby county doesn’t just cover the city of Derby. There will be fans in Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Belper etc who will literally not know what to do with themselves! 

Jamie Ward to come back ? he’s firing them in for Buxton! 

Ashley is the best option by far! He kept loyal to Newcastle during the years and could have easily jumped ship. 
 

We need a stable backer and Ashley would supply us with the sponsorship and funding to keep us going! 
 

People forget he actually backed the Toon heavily under Mcclaren and when they got relegated.

It’s down to the manager, you can’t always blame floundering from winning positions on players ‘switching off’ 

It was time for Wayne to walk away last season! The mentality and energy of the players is just not there!! 

We should be scrapping and chasing everything with the amount of youth we have in the team, instead we look lethargic and uninterested, just like the manager!

Not the good old days of 2013 to 2015 but better than this rubbish! I just remember everything so simple with overlapping full backs, wide players playing wide (!), midfielders arriving in the box and attacking.
