Don't think we will stay up. If we do, same old unless changes at management and playing staff. Youth teams are doing well, promising for the future. Derby haven't had a stint down third tier in a long time but lots of clubs have. Some are still stuck but lots have come back - Man C, Leeds, Leicester, Sheffield United etc. Think will be painful for a few seasons but eventually it will be a surprise if we are stuck for too long. Even teams like Sunderland, Portsmouth are close to coming out of it. Derby has big support, will eventually attract right investment. 

I think there is a serious overestimation about the quality of current team. There isn't serious talent in this team. We have some good youngsters and one or two quality players but a lot are not performing. This is an average championship team. Our team 2 years ago had Mount Wilson Tomori Keogh Carson and we just achieved playoffs. Last season mid table and this season with a weaker squad we are struggling. Championship is competitive, its fine margins. It's not just the management. Loads of injuries this season and lack of depth. People just look at starting 11 and think oh that should be good enough, but it's more than that. How about players on form, how about people who can change the game from the bench? Options? What attackers do we have to give us options?  Benches from roughly Jan 19/20 and 21.

For the record, I hope coaching and management staff all go because I think are underperforming but the players are not good enough, consistent enough or dedicated enough. Nothing willl change without different players on the pitch.

Name a poorer Derby team. 11 point season or season after is maybe?

Worst team in 30 years. Worst performances poorest attacking threat. 11 point season side was terrible too but team is awful. Doesn’t matter what the players are ... international caps etc, the performances on the pitch are putting in average performances at best with lots of awful performances and everyone is to blame. 

In the 70/80's there were times we struggled but there was always that belief we could win games, we had some good players/bad players same with managers but there was a connection of the club between the chairman and fans most of the time, today that as gone out the door, Mel Morris as just tried to sell us to anyone which is still a fiasco, appointing Rooney as manager was a joke, and even today were not sure who will own the club. That as a 50 years supporter feels. The lowest of the low. This club is a car crash waiting to happen.

Nigel clough spoke about having players with a desire to keep the ball out of our net, a desire to stop crosses coming into the box 
We showed none of that yesterday and in recent weeks especially but most of the season we’ve showed very little desire or ability to do the basics to keep the ball out 

Don't think it was intentional zonal marking that cost us yesterday. Players didn't mark their man and that was their job and they failed. It wasn't zonal marking from crosses. Forsyth Knight and Lawrence didn't do basic jobs. Other matches, still seemed to be a lack of desire from players to defend crosses and corners. It's more than tactics, its players not giving 100 per cent, they can't be bothered to do basics. 

Agreed, they have been consistent. Clarke as well maybe. Effort is a fine line. I saw good running and combinations yesterday first half, same with Birmingham, no real quality but not less than Swansea. But against Birmingham where was the desire to stop the cross, there was a corner we conceded from recently, everyone stationary. Yesterday, players not marking. It's not like 'cant be bothered' means just jog around. It's subtle moments not to do basics, get away with standing still, ball watching, not gambling on a run, not tracking back, not offering yourself to a teammate. If too many players do those things and play at like 90 per cent, any team will be struggling.

Bookies are wrong a lot. It's just people betting on 'likely' outcomes. Makes no difference, we are the worst form team in the league. I will be  surprised if we stay up.

Well he was committed to trying to get us promotion. Also no one could have foreseen COViD which has been the killer

I wasn’t complaining, loved the playoffs!! I always thought we might not get those chances much more at the time although didn’t think we would sink so low 

He makes important saves. He was at fault today but I still think he's a decent keeper. We were spoiled with Carson, don't think Marshall or Roos are on that level.

Did Morris pick those players?? Were any of those players undeserving of a chance at Derby based on their credentials?? I would say no. Morris backed his managers although he seemed to sack people very quickly. Maybe that was a mistake.

As it stands we need a massive performance next week. One that I very much doubt we are capable of, 6 loses on the bounce with zero desire or fight. If Rooney or the players were capable of it why haven’t we seen it. For the past 2 games we were in positions to win games against opponents who had little to play for and somehow managed to throw it away. 
 
I currently feel very little affinity for the players I genuinely wouldn’t care if none of them were hear next season, manager and the club. The players show no desire for the shirt, the manager is way out his depth and a club that seems to be doing all it can to alienate the fans when they need them the most. 
 
It’s a sad state of affairs. 

How many of you were actually complaining when we were in the playoffs? Yes, you may have been disgruntled at certain aspects of the club and team but I don't remember reading BOARD OUT, MM IS A DISGRACE. It's all hindsight! The blokes tried and it failed. How many of us haven't failed at something. He's just done it on a grander scale cos he's lucky enough to have a few quid! You're all pi*sed because it didn't work out and I get it. It's crap and I'm hurting too but come on, what's the point in the blame game now? It's too late.
