Will forever be a hero at Newport. Quite ironic that a lad with such heart had heart problems.

Junior. I liked him and had it not been for his injury I thought he’d have done okay for us.

I'm thinking Barry Bannan assuming it doesn't show his current club.

I’m sure McClaren was asked about this and he said the reason was that the more bodies in the box the better as it’s more congested and harder for someone to get a clear run at the ball or get space for a shot. It didn’t stop Knighty though did it ??

I’ve just been reading about how good it is that DCFC have a man of colour as our manager and how forward thinking it is of us. To me LR is a great coach and a top man to have at the helm and will take us far. That’s it for me nothing more nothing less. I’d never even thought about his background or ethnicity. He’s just the right man for the job regardless whether he’s pink, black, brown, white, green, blue or orange.

Madness really but that’s football. As I walked away from the game with my 9 year old lad ( both of us in our rams shirts) a posh fan made a point of saying ‘Cheating Derby barstools’ I turned round and said something along the lines of grow up my kids with me to get a response of ‘What you want a go’. Really couldn’t believe it and maybe 10 years ago my response would have been very different. We all get frustrated by the game which is why we love it so much but come on. There’s plenty out there who they’d get a response out of, me without my lad prob being one. Suck it up, be a big boy and take the loss.

Onto the game. The less the said the better. As well as McGoldrick and Fozzy did it was Smith for me who was the difference. Constantly trying to play forward and be progressive. I love Bird but at times he could do with sitting down and watching a George Thorne reel. He is too fond of just being the pivot between the CB’s. He is more than capable of receiving the ball on the halft turn and playing forward. He could quite easily have got Stears sent off today. He is technically so good but needs to be more progressive with his passing. But 3 points is a good return and we move onto the next.
