Grimbeard reacted to IslandExile in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
You were not slated.
You were simply asked what any of us could do that would affect anything. You repeatedly refused to answer that - probably because the truth is there was nothing we could do to alter the course of the club.

Why has ezzeetigger been banned? We’ve both been respectable given the circumstances

Not the worst Haiku I've ever seen 3/5

Tongue in cheek remark mate.
When you've lived with the slow decline from 76 just as the gumps were on the up, through to the 3rd division relegation, Maxwell etc its hard to see it as the worst but it may well turn out to be yet. Strangely though, some of the best memories are of those years followed by the promotions.
You won't get a ticket to away games next season for love nor money!

I don’t understand the criticism of Baldock…yes he’s had little or no impact but his job tonight is chasing lost causes and grafting selflessly for his team. He’s feeding of scraps at best….and very low quality scraps at that. I understand it’s frustrating but by comparison Knight literally hasn’t had a touch but received no criticism for his performance at all ?♂️
Surely we have to understand the lone striker role, away, at the top of the league, with your side playing a much different route 1 game isn’t exactly made for sparkling performances from 5’9” strikers?

Yeah, mines playing up. It's showing Wimbledon vs Watford from the mid 1980s.

Some of the kids have got to get experience sometime. As long as Wazza has thought through a system that gives them a chance then that's good enough.
However, this might be the occasion for the plaintive Gooners prediction that we're about to get a worse pummelling than Katie Price's battered old burst hedgehog on a Friday night out in benidorm..... ?

One game in 6 that he's turned up in.
Which basically sums up Lawrence since he's been here.
Where's he been since?
There will be another game soon where he may turn up, play well, score a goal, and then disappear again for 8-10 games.

You get to your seat and remove your mask.
Then thousands of people surround you and shout, sing and cheer ( unless you're in the West stand )
What's the point in wearing the mask in the first place?

Grimbeard reacted to Comrade 86 in Embargo.
So according to Percy, the EFL are working on a 'points sanction proposal'. This stunning revelation has me recoiling in abject shock, and horror. I now have the Samaritans on speed-dial as a consequence.
In another huge, worldwide exclusive scoop, he reveals that this may be completed in the 'next week or so', but it also that it may not.
He also posits the unlikelihood of a takeover deal being struck until the charges are are levied and addressed, which is in itself, another absolute bombshell of a revelation.
In other news, I've just sent John a picture of my pussy...

Grimbeard reacted to May Contain Nuts in Embargo.
The problem (well, one problem) we have is that with the EFL effectively trying to bully us into accepting a points penalty by withholding our right to operate under normal trading conditions is that if we accept it there won't be any recourse to an appeal to lessen the penalty at a later date.
If we accept their 'deal', we cannot appeal.
...but that just makes you wonder how little they actually have on us, if they're so convinced of our guilt then what's stopping them just applying a punishment and letting us appeal it? They'll win the appeal, surely, without any problems, we're bang to rights...?
It's being presented as them wanting to end this as quickly as we do, presented as them being 'reasonable' by entering into negotiations but is anyone actually buying that? Of course they're not being reasonable, they're trying to get as much from us as possible, a far higher punishment than is actually warranted by our actions, without their decision being scrutinised by a third party.
It's practically extortion - if they get away with this what else will they get away with in future?

But posters aren't allowing us to play the season before condemning us are they. The 'we are dross' narrative is being spun already.

On current form they won't even secure 8 points. Let's check in with Dawny and Tigger to see how they feel about that...
