I don't know how many left early, but when the second goal went in it sounded like another 10,000 had sneaked in. Incredible noise.

The Premier League is nowhere near as interesting as the media hype would have you believe.
There's only going to be around 4-5 clubs that will ever win it from now until the end of time unless there is a major restructuring of football finances (which won't happen).
For fans of the rest, where's the enjoyment in hoping your team scrape enough points to finish 17th.?
The championship gets worse every year, parachute payments mean at least two of the promotion slots go to yo-yo clubs.
Sure League One has favourites for promotion but, at this stage, no one knows who will go up, who will make the play offs or who will get relegated.
That competition and uncertainty, even if not the standard of football (and it's still higher than many believe) makes it a darn sight more interesting and - yes - enjoyable.

Totally agree. Great post. I noticed we weren't always looking for the instant pass, we were dribbling with the ball slightly more, allowing us another dimension. Best football I've seen us play in a long time. 
Yes, passes went astray, but that goes with making forward passes. I don't mind us trying. 
Been surprised with the negative reaction. I was really pleased with the match, and it leaves me really looking forward to the next league game. That's not a feeling I've had in a long time, let me tell you. 

Grant McCann comes across as a proper thicko. Sends his players out to commit professional fouls and kick the opposition, and then acts offended when the referee susses him out.

Must say, unless my eyes were deceiving me, Sibbers was on fire at the start.  He "could" have had a hat trick in the opening 5 mins!... I say "could", and not "should", as he did nowt wrong, from what I saw.  Was just scuppered by jobsworth defending and a little bad luck.
Glad to see him get a full 90 under his belt.
