richinspain reacted to i-Ram in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
So to summarise, using the Rams amortisation policy, compared to the policy being used by all the other teams in the league, our policy gave us a £21.5m financial reporting advantage over other clubs for the 3 years up to year/season ending June 2018? Not much of an advantage then.

He probably thought that was far enough away to escape him.?

richinspain got a reaction from loweman2 in The Old Guard
Judging by the first photo, I'd say that @loweman2 was stalking him whilst he was on his holidays, and just happened to have the shirt for him to sign in the car ?

richinspain reacted to G STAR RAM in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
You are correct, it was not a minor offence, it was no offence at all, as concluded by the IDC.
The important thing you are omitting is that we tried to circumvent FFP but fully within the rules.
If you are still arguing that the stadium valuation was an inflated figure I'm guessing that you have not followed the case too closely.
Maybe the EFL should start challenging the sales values of players? I can think if plenty that have been sold at inflated values.
Our financial situation is in no way down to the EFL but the fact that we have found ourselves with our hands tied behind our backs for nearly 2 years (let that timescale sink in) lays fully at their door.
We've basically been stopped from operating normally and put in the position of not being allowed access to a Covid loan purely on the basis of unfounded alllegations from other clubs.

John Robson was a brilliant left back. Very sad how his career, and ultimately life, were tragically cut short.

Drove down this morning, left the car at the hotel in north London, jumped on the tube to London Bridge. Breakfast at Borough market then into the Old Thameside inn for liquid refreshment.

Blimey! I tried to find that out from Colchester's website but they made no mention of these seasoned international pros.
Thanks for the info. Glad my weekend plans haven't been disrupted for no good reason!

Season going exactly as expected. Said before it started there would be some dark patches and maybe a couple of heavy defeats. At least those heavy defeats have stayed away. Fulham tic toc.
I rarely post in this part of the forum nowadays. It’s always all or nothing, no middle ground on here bar a few. Gods one week, tossers the next. We are exactly where we all expected us to be.
The situation is what it is. Poor squad with a rookie manager, no money, not much of anything really. We all know why so little point in blitzing the squad or manager.
On a positive note. At least we still have a club to moan about. Right here, right now, that’s a good thing.

Do we still hold McGrath's registration? He must be worth throwing in for a couple of games even at his age if he can still make the Ireland squad.

Fireworks have been going off near me for weeks now. What is it with people letting them off well before Bonfire night and celebrating too early - madness. My dog is terrified and has knocked the Christmas tree over a couple of times already.
