Mrs tested positive yesterday for the first time. Teacher, so I'm surprised she got this far really. I'm at home with her for the next few days, so maybe it'll get me too.

Binged it in 24 hrs, it won't win any awards, but then again it doesn't set out to do anything but entertain, and it delivered for me. 

 

Only one episode in, but pleased with it so far. Even the locations look the same as I imagined them when reading . Will watch one each night this week. That's binging by my standards. Would normally only watch one a week.

Hope you shake it off quickly.  Is that your first time? I seem to have avoided it, despite working with a lot of other people and no social distancing. Though I had something in January or February before the first lock down. Maybe that was it.

Omicron is mild, but our health system can barely handle a windy day. Government isn't really doing anything anymore, people can't get tested though, so growth of cases is slightly depressed.

So yeah, I'd argue that saying Australia is a shambolic mess is probably about right. We prepared to 'live with delta', but omicron is so far out of our planning. Also, I know you said no cricket, but Sydney is going to get drenched the next few days. England's team selections might have been rubbish for this test, but I'd be surprised if we got through more than 1-2 sessions at most. 5-0 is almost certainly gone. 

Edit: Also, our Prime Minister has pretty much said they're not providing free rapid tests as to 'not undercut the market'. So instead, there's basically none in the whole country, and the ones that are there are being sold at a 200%+ mark-up. 

Morrison is very unpopular right now.

My Mrs watched this. She then suggested I should try watching it. 

Now, usually when she suggests a show , I often don't make it to episode 2. 

I checked a few of the good reviews, and then a few of the bad ones. Boy are they bad. 

I'm away at work next week, so I'll give it a go. Though after those reviews, I'm not hopeful!

If it's doubling in less than two days, how long before every person in the country has it. Approximately how many people will have this by Christmas day??

I wonder when they'll start talking about the fourth jab.

I was told to go and sit in my car for 15 minutes in the car park, and sound the horn if I felt weird. 

I've felt weird for the last 60 odd years, so I just drove home. 

Had booster this morning at a walk in place . Person in front of me, and the one behind me, were turned away as their six months period doesn't end til next week.

Personally think they made a right mess of announcing the change to 3 months to the public first, without telling the people doing the work. 

Also had my first ever flu jab this morning . Finally caved in to pressure from Mrs KR.
