BriggRam reacted to rammieib in Let's make Sunday "Duck the EFL day".
Except the EFL originally signed off the amortisation approach and then changed their minds after allegedly receiving pressure from other clubs.
They didn't accept the result of the first hearing - so spat their dummies out with an appeal.
Continually pushed to have the points penalty applied last season so thus their actions were trying to punish us last year.
Ignoring the above, and going with the black/white - the EFL's rules are punishing the fans and not the owners who are responsible.
So yes, whilst Morris and Co have done an unbelievably bad job running this club financially, the EFL have also not covered themselves in much glory.

This make me unbelievably angry. What kind of reporting is this? 'Poorly timed tweet', 'grilled by fans' 'brag about'
what the actual f. How anyone at this poor excuse for a news outlet gets paid is beyond me. I wonder if Nicholson is embarrassed at how awful the click bait nonsense that comes from the telegraph is?
Whether Kirchner does or does not buy the club... no one knows yet, I'm hopeful he does so we still have a club. But why bother with this utter nonsense that frankly if I were him and reading it, i'd be pissed off at.
"His tweet was not about the situation with Derby, but rather to brag about spending a week at golf events in Dubai with "partners" including luxury watch brand Rolex."
First thing as a new owner, I'd closing all lines of communication with this awful excuse of paper.

“Our focus is to continue to work with the Joint Administrators to assist them in securing a long-term future for the Club.”
Thanks but no thanks Mr Birch.
We’d prefer you and your sort to stay as far away from our club as possible!

BriggRam reacted to DCFC Kicks in End Parachute Money
But promoted clubs need to spend to compete in the PL. If they got relegated into the Championship in their first PL season and didn't have parachute payments they'd be stuck with a bunch of players on high wages and got out of business.
The source of the problem is the Premier Leagues never ending greed and 'profit above all else nature'. Football died in England in 1992.

BriggRam reacted to 24Charlie in Alan Nixon Breaks Silence on American Billionaire Bid
Leicester of course just continued to cheat and did very well out of it. Avoiding any points deductions.
A club now lorded as the plucky little underdog who made it big.
A truly detestable club. Their bin robbing fans refuse to acknowledge the complete cheating bastary employed in their rise from div 3.

Division 3. As in the third tier. As in league 1?

Other option is efl drag it out and we can't exit admin and get liquidated.
Breaks my heart this unfortunately. Level of punishment is completely unwarranted and Mel has just thrown us out the window.
Might as well void all our results as well...
Well done to all involved at the efl.

TBH I just don't care anymore.
If it takes dropping down to Div One to start again with a clean slate and have nothing else hanging over us then so be it.
Onwards and Upwards.

BriggRam reacted to PistoldPete in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
I think it probably means we are close to agreeing an overall deal with EFL over the penalties to be applied for entering admin and for FFP combined. And so by consent we would then withdraw the appeal.. meaning the total penalty for both combined will be at least 12 points.
