I think that may have been the first day of the season at a very rainy time, the pitch looks suspect even then.

Don’t think they have changed the rules they need to be compliant with accounting standards.
We’re they not already? Compliant with accounting standards but diverged from EFL rules and there is the problem?

I assume the accounts not only need to be revised but also re-audited?? I can see how the Auditors will want to be bullet proof on this considering their previously signed off accounts were called into question.

Ive got an account on Owlstalk and have to say they seem fairly welcoming as long providing you dont go on with the sole purpose of baiting. LTLF they seem to be obsessed with what is happening with us more than their own lot

What is a shame us Mel goes on about the academy so often.
We have 2 in Cashin and Thompson who aren't able to play for the first team because we haven't sorted anything out yet.
Thanks again Mel.
Never an opportunity goes by................

hope its not true that we only let Dawny and a few other Gumps on this thread, they are friendly enough, I like to see what they have to offer.....its entertaining and what's football; without the edge of rivalry

disappointing, not seen that anywhere. Have to say I know quite a few pre covid regulers who seem to have thrown in the towel for a range of reasons, Covid concerns, lost interest in general, fallen out of love with the Rams, poor performances, dislike Rooney, Dislike Morris etc etc
I do feel the Club need a strategy to stop support haemorrhaging further

Has it been announced what it was on Saturday?

Already a thread on their board wanting to sack Hughton, and I thought our fans were nuts

If anyone wants anyone to be sold right now, you must be insane. We're going to struggle to put a team out in just a few weeks. Every player counts.
I'm sure we will not sell anyone without the certain knowledge of being able to replace them in the squad

It may be old fashioned but I think we need to learn the off side trap for set pieces like that.

Ha ha! There's never been a better time to be alive. On a day-to-day basis people don't tend to see the improvement, but if you look back just 10 or 20 years ago the world's been transformed and the UK is in the vanguard of that. We live in what's probably the most tolerant and diverse country in the world, and should be proud of that.
We are becoming increasingly diverse but increasingly tolerant? No way, only in the young.

What was the crowd? Any ideas

Great result for us last night, both Bournmouth and the baggies drop points.........I will start a relegation watch thread when I see what Cov and the dogs do.

Has anyone heard from David? No doubt there are reasons why we haven't had his feedback, but is he ok?

There are so many on this forum who are such loyal Rams fans that they would die for the club, but only till the owners cash runs out.
This is a replay of what happened to Pickering and as he famously said on radio Derby to the booing fans "If you can do better, where's your money - and if you don't like it, go and watch Forest.” that ended with the club going into administration and some less than savoury characters picking the club up for £3 and then them going to prison for a creative sale of the ground.
I agree with the sentiments of this topic the club needs support, not constant sniping to try and show how humorous the posters can be, (and always failing).
FWIW 99% of Rams fans do not come on this forum or do twatter, so all the "clever" remarks will not affect their attitudes to the club. and anyone who is less than supportive on Saturday could well regret their negativity.
This. Spot on. For tomorrow at least, if you have called the club a joke/laughing stock/embarrassment over the last few months please stay away, I'd hate you to feel embarrassed about being a Rams fan.

Which I presume means Mel didn't/couldn't show ability to pay the clubs way for the season?
Not sure that conclusion can be drawn. Isn’t it more to likely that the wage limit is the issue

In other news, Huddersfield tickets are still available till 1.00pm tomorrow.

Any volunteers to carry Tom on your back all the way to Birmingham?
He's one of our better players. I remember when people couldn't see what Alan Hinton or John Mcgovern brought to the team.

Tremendous news, good luck to Mrs EraniosSocks too, it will be almost as tough for her.

The day our accounts are due. My hope is that we do not just get silence from the club and efl. That there is some acknowledgement that they are submitted and being assessed and will be a verdict before the end of the window. I want ideally to hear the club say that in there opinion the accounts are compliant with ffp.
