Depends doesn't it? Loan back could have been worth it. Otherwise, who do you replace him with at this stage?

Fosu?

I don't get why so many fans want us to sell our best centre half and one of our best players when we're trying to get promoted. This isn't football manager. The new centre halves haven't pulled up any trees yet so how would selling Cashin definitely help us?

Personally glad he's staying. Top player at this level

I'm quite glad we didn't end up signing a RWB that we were apparently looking at as a last arrival, even if no names were actually linked.
Ward and Wilson won't be too far off, especially as we'll have breaks with upcoming international breaks in September and October. Rooney has played well so far and deserves to continue playing. It also makes it more likely for us to go with 4 at the back rather than 5. We are so much better with a 4.

Cashin now been spotted at Costa on the Meteor Centre.
He’s hoping a very latte bid comes in for him

Me at 11 after being linked to a liverpool player I’ve never heard of and JCH, and ending up with some bloke from Sunderland.
me at 5 past 11 when Cashin to Brighton is confirmed with no loan back.

Yep. Like Jeff but always thought he was easily the least effective of the 4 midfielders and the fee we received was a great deal.

The season we essentially sold him, he was very poor, but he had a good Euros and that was enough. Best outgoing transfers we’ve managed to achieve IMO.

Very talented kid. Reminds me somewhat of Mount.

Vaulks and Ladapo you say...
I don't care what Richy Barker has to say, my hopes are well and truly raised for a deadline day bonanza!
Probably sign a fourth choice keeper and that's it. Bring it on.

Could potentially fit a narrative if you go looking for clues.
Warne said he wanted someone earlier in the window who’s holding out for a move to the champ, could be JCH. Some people have questioned where the money from Bielik and Knight has gone, is it sat in a ram shaped piggy bank (bought with discount from the club shop) on Mr Clowes’ desk with a sticky note marked JCH stuck on the side? Warne said he didn’t have a “Waggy” in his budget, is that because the wages were earmarked for JCH? He’s a former Warne player and there was definite post match neck sniffing on Sat as I observed in the match day thread.
I mean, it’s probably not happening and we’ll sign an unknown premier league loanee but it’s fun to speculate wildly on deadline day stuff 😊

Watching replays, Rooney is playing everyone on there. Probably a tired mind at the end, but it will do him good to get a full match under his belt.
2-4 final score. Well done Derby and especially Waghorn!
