So, to summarise, we’ve effectively been told that the cheque’s in the post?

If Kirchner can prove to the EFL and Quantuma it is being held up due to such checks, I think they will be okay with that but the concern could be what if these checks find any major problems

I'm probably in the minority here but I appreciate Ed Dawes' efforts today. Seems like most journalists had just accepted that it would be done soon despite it dragging on and CK's and Quantuma's expected completion dates being missed. He might very well be wrong with the information he got this morning (hopefully), but it's got national media attention again and has seemed to give everyone a little nudge to reach a conclusion. 

if the deal could just be done and dusted my employer would really appreciate it!

Well I'm currently enjoying a lovely walk whilst replying to you.
Tomorrow I'm accompanying my 4 year old son on his school trip, super excited.
Just found out I'm expecting my 2nd child, after losing one last year, buzzing, excited, nervous.
My football club is on its arse and has been for a couple of years now, we have been fed lie after lie. Forgive me for having negative thoughts where Mel Morris, Quantuma and the current state of the club are concerned. 
Can't have everything I suppose.

I don’t think it’s negative for worrying it won’t happen? It’s been 2 years now since the talk of the first take over, we’ve had deadlines after deadlines missed, depressing stories in every paper, talk of Derby County no longer being a football club, of course people are going to get annoyed some have had enough of these false deadlines, I’m not surprised, the Sheikhs excuses were bank holidays so no surprise people are finding it frustrating that CK is now saying it’s because of bank holidays, we all want it to happen but some are more cautious because of what’s happened of the last 2 years. I for one hope it goes through desperately.  So not everyone’s negative for being cautious, Derby’s just made us like this over the last 2 years!! We all want a club to support next year and for years to come.

Problem is that I fear any player on the cusp of taking offers elsewhere or indeed any we are interested in will be thinking this is a feckin joke and will be out the door or going somewhere else .  Can't blame them as this has become a feckin joke.
