That is exactly what my son was taught they were singing!

Well that was a good match!
Have to feel for Bradberry, as it was pretty minor in terms of holding - another fortuitous call for the Chiefs.
Neither Mahomes or Hurts deserved to lose though…

Hope Wildsmith is staying. Why would McGee leave Forest Green to come and not play?

Do any of you have that team dissociated with the general Derby rivals that you look forward to or dislike?
??
To be fair, I have always had a soft spot for Plymouth, although nothing beyond preferring to see them do alright. Probably due to interaction with a fan who seemed a genuinely good bloke.
Grimsby, on the other hand, they can rot in the bowels of the league for ever more! Ideally, along with the “elite” Prem clubs and Wolves.

Music played when a team scores still absolutely agitates me…
That, and having goals sponsored by some crappy organisation also grates.

I have to say I am more upset about hearing this than I thought I would be.
I never saw him play, never saw him beyond his role as an ambassador really, but understand he was the greatest player of not just his time, but arguably ever.
He’s been a living legend for my whole life, and now he’ll live on in the memories of football fans for many years.
My son always goes on about how great he was and has a Brazil shirt with Pele 10 on his back…
A true legend, who will be missed by the world.

Just had a quick look at championship right backs who are out of contract in the summer and there are three “out of favour” players who all played under Warne at Rotherham.
Josh Emmanuel (Hull)
Darnell Fisher (Boro)
Matthew Olusunde (Preston)
Certainly could be seen as potential options as players who clubs wish to offload…
-
In fairness, every player signed this summer has contributed.
That is an impressive hit rate, to be fair, when you have no money to spend, as you usually get one or two outright duds, no matter where you shop.
I know people may mention Anang, however I think it’s unfair if he was broken as soon as he arrived, and he was only ever going to be a back up to Wildsmith anyway.

A question for you all: what made you choose the team you chose?
Doubt there’s any family loyalties, so what were your reasons?
I chose the Falcons, as it was a straightforward thing of thinking I should watch the NFL show on Channel 4, as all my mates were into it. The first match I watched was the featured game of the Falcons vs the Buccaneers, so I chose the team that won as the team I would follow. Wasn’t going to choose the popular Bears/Dolphins/Raiders options at the time…

Good to see we’re turning on the manager after three games
It’s rather inevitable that Warne will get some stick when things go poorly.
He has replaced Rosenior, who had an awful lot of good will still on his side, was universally popular and was doing alright.
As a result, the “cuckoo in the nest“ will have to do better than how Rosenior was perceived to be doing.
The Port Vale match was a game most fans turned up to expecting a win.
My concern is we have changed our style of play and formation, which does not necessarily suit our players - playing forward players as wing-backs leaves us susceptible at the back, meaning we have done a “Morris” by building one team and now needing different players that suit the new managers style better.
I just hope that we stick to one philosophy and don’t go down the new manager route if Warne doesn’t bring immediate success.
-
My main takeaway from the match was how awful Wycombe were with regards to time wasting and gamesmanship.
How do you watch that on a weekly basis?
It’s always gratifying to see a team wasting time, only for it to bite them on the bum by the end of the game…
-
Typical…

My son’s under 12s team managed to get a rock band from the 90’s sponsor them - might be a bit costlier for Derby though!

I’m sure I remember Marstons saying that the increase in sales in Derby for Pedigree was pretty much offset by the decrease in Nottingham.

Good move for him. Must mean we’ve got strikers coming in. Was told he could leave once replacements were brought in
Captain ITK comes out with another “Yeah, that’s what I heard” after the event.
If you were told about it, why haven’t you told us beforehand?
-
Do we know how long he’s actually out for?
I thought his injury for Poland was a “niggle”. That doesn’t suggest being out for weeks on end, especially with a summer break involved to rest it up,

Stearman has moved to 19, to accommodate Thompson by the look of it.

This post encapsulates everything that is wrong with football.
The gap between the haves and the have nots is bewildering.
Back in the first division (and that is what it should be), pretty much every team had players that would walk into another team. We had two England starters, fgs. Nowadays, it’s virtually impossible to even dent the top half.
Resultantly, I actually think we’ll have a far more enjoyable season than Forest this season.

I am hugely looking forward to seeing Rosenior as the new manager. That said, I just hope the crowd gives him plenty of slack.
There’s been a huge amount of optimism over the last few days and I worry that may translate into a less supportive atmosphere if we don’t hit the ground running.
We need to be patient and ensure we back the team like we did last year, when there was only zero expectation.
