Don’t really get our obsession with Mengi. 
Look at what we’ve got in our own academy - Mengi may well turn out to be a better player than say Cashin, but at least Cashin is our player. Would much rather invest the time seeing what we can do with his potential than helping Utd. 
 
An exciting young forward / wide player on loan would be a different kettle of fish (as long as they’re not a no 10, not like we’re short of people who want to play down the middle!)

Can’t believe there were people out there today who were saying Joz was no good. He had a bad spell last half of 20/21 but today he looked excellent

‘We only had old men’ 

Very surprised to see 4 defenders, three of which are full backs on the bench!! Kornell was clearly not fully fit Tuesday so surely another game last night for the 23s would’ve done him more good?
I don’t see the logic if I’m honest.
Stretton obviously not fully fit or surely he’d start meaning Watson is the only other player who can play an attacking and he’s really not shown he can do that role yet when I’ve seen him…much more convincing when playing deeper.
Harsh on Hutchinson and Brown who I personally felt did well midweek.

I'm not at all sure we had a choice. Stretton has had issues with injury previously and to me looks as if he's been carrying a knock. It may be tactical but it may well be that we can only get half an hour from him at high intensity at the moment anyway, in which case the bench is the better option.
It shows how weak the squad is. I'm surprised we haven't got Isaac Hutchinson on the bench, meaning Jack Stretton and Louie Watson are the only two forward thinking players there to go with four defenders.

I'm in. It's really rocking now.

It's also worth pointing out Leeds have spent more on this starting 11 than we did on our first team matchday squad vs Boro

He blocked me for pointing that out to him one time, I think in similar circumstances on the eve of their big Derby match.

Forest 0-2, Shouldn’t laugh really ?

Win or lose from here, I'm quite content with the team and performance this evening. 
Think back to the progress made since the youngsters got pushed around 3-0 by forest....

Hopefully good for a Lowe sell-on clause. Slightly nervous that Zak Brunt will have a few points to prove against Derby. 

I can't believe how wonderful it is to watch Ravel just pass the ball. Gives another dimension to the team, put in one particularly fab tackle yesterday and doesn't lack for effort. Worth the ticket price alone. Although his deadball needs some work! ? #COYR
