Now we have 2 more players in (till January), does the daft situation with Caishin and Thompson end ? If we’re really going three at the back, then having someone younger on the bench to push the wheelchairs might be handy ?

Such a shame we couldn’t have Thompson at defensive midfield and Caishin at centre back - would have both strengthened this side

I actually thought Mel came out of it quite well considering the company he was keeping. 
Felt a bit like the Allardyce documentary in that you had wide boys talking themselves up in largely unsubstantiated claims of dubious behaviour. 
The last bit of the programme (Cyprus passports) was an old piece of Al Jazeera investigation that felt tacked on to make the one hour duration - however, good cameo appearance by Tony Adams’ sister as the wife of the English fixer in Cyprus. 

Sad that Cashin and Thompson is missing out. Assuming under 18s can play without affecting 'professional standing' numbers then Williams (or a fit Buchanan) should start - I'd also put CKR on the bench. Fozzy comes at centre back to give one of the old men a rest. Give Sibley a start as a reward and to keep his morale up.

Not bad considering. Morrison, Knight, Bielik, Stretton, Buchanan to add to that squad. Centre backs worked. Festy and Sibley added life as subs. Roos impressive (what a key save in the second half). 

If only we could combine Joswiak’s technical ability with Sibley’s desire to make something happen

Fozzy gets the nod for me after being better in pre season than the injury affected Buchanan.
 

The Morrison situation probably my priority of the other trialists. The performance of Caishin last week means i’m less concerned about Jagielka. Though I worry about goals, am not convinced about Baldock or Aluko and resolutely optimistic on Stretton.

What a half from Cashin - not just the outstanding goal, but a great physical presence, a vocal organiser and calm on the ball. 
 

Have you considered selling a small shareholding of the club to fans to bring in immediate capital while continuing to make the club attractive to majority ownership buyers.
