Sounds more like it's not the sort of manager we want at the club.

I expect the older ones to be let go - Yates, Wassall, Bateman, JML, Cresswell, Trialist
The ones to have already been included in the squad are obviously in with a chance of being permanent members of the squad. That's just about all of the U23s.
McDonald, Ebosele, Watson and Stretton are the closest to making the first team - McDonald and Watson were in half of the matchday squads last season afterall.
Shonibare is in with a shout given out lack of depth on the wings.
I'm hopeful Archie will step up as Forsyth fades out of the team. If he had chosen to continue playing on the wing for the U23s he would have most likely been involved in the first team squad by now. But, he wants to be a LB/LWB.
LThompson is the one I'm most looking forward to seeing make the step up but is in the most crowded position.

It's about time the young players were cut some slack - Buchanan, Bird and Knight are still only 20 and Sibley 19. You mention Hendrick and Hughes - we knew Will was a special talent, at least at Championship level - but they were 24 and 22 before getting their 'big' moves - who knows what level our youngsters will be at in 4 years time.
They have just had to endure a fight against relegation which would have tested the most seasoned professionals let alone those with very little experience - what a horrendous season in which to try and be fully integrated into the Clubs'senior squad.
One of the saving graces about having no fans in the ground is at least, with things going wrong, the boo boys are kept at bay.

Do you believe that Collymore genuinely gives a duck about what happens to Derby? It doesn't really read as anything to me. But we've all seen people randomly make stuff up on the internet before and football fans are awful for just going along with every rumour, I seem to remember many on here believed Barry the ram. East Midlands today said nothing like what Collymore did. I don't really care whether you like or dislike Mel, saying he isn't a true fan because things didn't work out is just unfair. What is a ''true fan'' anyway, and who gets to police it?

I don't know who wouldn't be nervous about this. We're apparently handing the club over to unknown backers fronted by a dude whose only experience in second division UK football led to him leaving the club after allegedly promising things he couldn't deliver on and then by all accounts made himself an absolute nuisance. Why on earth would we want to touch this guy with a 100ft bargepole unless we were  on the brink of financial collapse?

We don't know the inside story yet and I really hope I'm proven wrong but I'm far from convinced. It just feels like Mel is simply trying to sell the club as quickly as possible to anyone who happens to show they have enough cash to buy us.

Just wait until we finish the season 5 points clear of the relegation zone and get slapped with a -6 fine from the EFL. ?

Said it before and I'll say it again, we're in this position because we don't score enough so why have arguably our brightest attacking talent on the bench. Play him further forward, let knight do his running (which knight does brilliantly btw even he isn't having the greatest spell) and we'll be better for it. COYR

I have a feeling that Jozwiak won't be here next season. I reckon he'll be on the blower to his agent after a move to a less mental club with better prospects. If someone comes up with the cash and Mel is still in charge he's gone.

Jozwiak showing what he can do when he's not surrounded by jobbers and stuck in a formation that makes it incredibly difficult to play in the opposition half.

Agree 100%. I’d much rather we beat Luton and it takes a lot of pressure off, but if we don’t, it doesn’t automatically equate to ‘season over.’ people saying it’s the most important game of the season are a bit OTT. By that definition, Stoke was the most important game (if we’d have beaten them, pressure off), or if we loose to Luton, then the game after is the most important game.
they’re all important games at this stage. One win can take the pressure right off.
Although, let me posit this scenario. We win against Luton, everyone breathes a sigh of relief, and we take our foot off the gas like we did after our good post Christmas form. We then meander into games against Brum and sheff and end up loosing.
or, we loose to Luton, and are then in no doubt that Brum and sheff are must win games, we step up to the challenge and beat them both.
I know we don’t look much like stepping up to any challenge at the minute, but I’d still back us against Brum and sheff. We’ve got the quality on the day.

I've been confident all season we will get out of this, even when we were rock bottom. I honestly believed we will stay up and I still do, but even I'm starting to get just a little bit worried now.
This is the most concerned I've been all season, probably because we're coming down to the business end and we're still in trouble not looking like we can score another goal let alone win another game. Add the comments from Rooney about Waghorn and this just looks like a recipe for League one.
We need to sort it over this 2 week break. Beat Luton first game back and we're halfway there.

Whilst we need a new CB it is going to be hard to find someone who is good enough for the first team but also happy to join on loan and be back up. We have kept a lot of clean sheets under Rooney including 3 in a row so a centre back isnt going to come straight in and start

Really won't take that many results to get out of this. Win tomorrow and we're out of the relegation zone most likely. I don't see us dropping through the trapdoor, I think we'll have enough to be safe.

BrudeRAM reacted to Sean in Running 10k each time Derby don't win in 2021
Admins/mods, apologies if this is inappropriate or in the wrong place!
As part of a personal mission to make a difference both to myself and others next year, and hopefully to also provide a boost to our local healthcare services, I am committing myself to running 10k each time Derby County fail to win a game (i.e. draw or lose) during 2021. If current form is anything to go by, I'll be stick thin by March!
I have started a GoFundMe page to hopefully do a bit of good while also having a bit of fun following our beloved Rams next year. I struggled to settle on a particular charity to support but have gone with the Derby and Burton Hospital Charity in light of the fantastic work they have done in tough circumstances in 2020. If you would wish to donate and provide me some much-needed motivation I'd appreciate literally anything!

    My other thought was for the Derby City Mission who I know we had done some fundraising for on this forum earlier in the year, please also consider helping their cause if you would prefer;
