So reporters on your side are reporting the result of a confidential agreement and saying Gibson won! Now there's a surprise.
I'd still rather see forest go up than any team owned by that permed ?

I appreciate this is a joke, but the Bamford nearly took us to the wall. He's forced the sale of our brightest stars and the reason Ebosele and Lawrence could leave for free. And could be the man who forces us down to the third tier.
Buy nothing. The bloke is a Bamford

Gibson is still a Banker. He stretched this out as long as he could.
He could have settled this months ago. Think of the damage he has done to DCFC and players we have lost
during that time. No forgiveness from me. Never will be any.

Anyone know if plant hire companies do refunds?
I'd just had this delivered, ready for tomorrow...

I appreciate Gibson finally admitting that this was always about settling a score with Mel.
Shame he tried to kill DCFC in the process, and Boro fans are carrying on like we should be worshipping the ground he walks on.
We now simply know that this was always about two very wealthy man-children risking the future of a football club that is older than both of them combined to settle petty scores.

I bet it was Gibson's plan all along to settle it after the transfer window. He knew he didn't have a case and wouldn't win in court but knew we wouldn't be able to sign anyone in January. Banker

As an aside to all this, an indication as to how a club can have a bearing on a persons mental health is this. My dad died suddenly on 31 Jan 22 and the first time I started to feel any cheer since his death was on Tuesday night watching Derby score 3 goals. It broke the malaise.

"They've turned down £2m for Tom Lawrence in the last 6 months of his contract."
On the Boro forum. Who offered us £2M for Tom?

Well that was a cracking way to spend a Tuesday night - even if I will be talking like Sean Dyche for most of today
I did fear the worse when Hull started brightly but that fantastic save from Allsop early on gave us the platform to start showing our quality & from that point, Hull had no answer. A midfield duo of Bielik & Bird is very good for this division & between them & Knight, they started dominating the centre of the park. Unquestionably the major difference was Festy although he worked fantastically in tandem with Byrne - I'm surprised Hull didn't start flooding their left side with more bodies to help their full back who was getting skinned alive but then we'd have just destroyed them down the left or through the centre.
The most complete performance I've seen all season & on that evidence, there's no reason why we can't pick up plenty of wins to make the end of season very interesting indeed. No weak links at all throughout the team & particular shout outs to Buchanan, who was excellent as a makeshift CB, Forsyth who aside from scoring a fantastic goal was very good throughout & Plange who did a lot of selfless work holding the ball up & bringing others into play. MOM obviously Festy though - unbelievable display & has added end product to show what an fantastic player he can be at this level.
Crowd were excellent as usual - I was East Stand near the away fans & fantastic atmosphere with being close to the Hull fans. Fair play also to the Hull lot - not many of them but they were loud, backed their team even when 0-3 down & didn't sing 'that' song.
Onto the Parmo Parasites Saturday - please let there be some footballing justice meted out. COYR ??

I always read the matchday thread when I get back from a game, no matter how late. Sometimes it's a chore but tonight it's been an absolute pleasure!
COYR!

Bielik allows Bird to get forward much more..his shooting is a bit hit and miss but his passing is a weapon..also love the way they cover each other when one roams forward..very good reading of each others game.

You'd want Knighty with you in a scrap. Worked his socks off from the first minute to the last. Top man.

Festy will deservedly get all the plaudits tonight, but Jason Knight was absolutely outstanding.

Just how can the games be so enjoyable, when we're in such a desperate situation? Even without the points deductions, the embargo should have relegated us. Yet we're still fighting and looking closer to the great escape with every game.
Hats off to you Wayne Rooney - you've earned your place in Derby County folklore.
Tonight, the whole team contributed. Festy was the real difference though. He's like the secret love child of Paulo Wanchope and roadrunner.

Lawrence was so hard working, really noticeable how much he tracked back and scored a goal maybe only he would have done.
Fozzy was a rock for most of the game and Byrne suddenly looked reborn what a game he had.
Knight just never stopped working unbelievable engine, Bird and Bielik were classy, solid and safe. Allsop looked great too...Buchanan didn't put a foot wrong and Davies is so good at set pieces and generally mopping up. Ebosele is top class player, set for the top.
Well worth our victory. Plange was chasing shadows at times but by the end he was making a nuisance of himself.
We just looked hungrier, busier, fitter and more interested. Energy levels were frightening. Great performance.

Fantastic tonight. Buchanan won every header early on. He looked good at centre back. Fozzy despite his frustrating moments is an asset and scored a great goal. Amazing he’s come back from his injuries. Allsop looks confident. Byrne and Ebosele has nice link up play. Ebosele is amazing. Bielik has so much composure. Fantastic player. Everyone else great as well. Lawrence Bird Knight Davies Plange. Subs. Whole team. Fans excellent. Almost everyone stays until the end these days. Rooney excellent - Choice of centre back partnership and tactics. Some lovely anti Gibson chants too. Great evening!
