Ramarena got a reaction from Ellafella in v Peterborough (A) Match Day Thread
Indeed, it doesn’t play to any of the players strengths.
Only Max bird is doing well and the rest are struggling.

Our midfield just isn’t right. Lawrence and Morrison are just not getting enough ball; accordingly we struggle to get out of our half. Very frustrating because with a better system we’d be far more fluent; instead we look disjointed and flakey.

Cannot believe Lawrence is our captain and still at our club. He is horrific, one of the worst I’ve seen.

Not having a great game today but I rate him generally.

If we structure every single attack through ebosele,it's going to be a tad predictable.
Do we not have a left wing?
We need to mix it up a little.

They’re scared of Ebosole. Posh could end the match with 10 men If we use that flank more.

Great work from max bird. He’s started well!

Planned move.....we wonder what they work on in training.
Was either that or zonal marking... ?

Great to have ebosele starting but it looks like a typically safe, conservative Rooney line up.
Hopefully see Sibley on pretty rapidly if we don't create enough goals from Rooneys natural instinct to concentrate on crosses from the wing instead of creative play in and around the box.
Should be a spicy one with Jack starting and looking to prove a point but hopefully he's not match sharp or fit quite yet....if he is is,he may cause us some problems.

As expected really apart from Festy who deserves a chance after his performance the other night.
Shinnie Bird hasn’t really clicked yet, Pushing Bird a bit further forward might help the balance, but I doubt this will happen.

LUXURY!
We used to get up half an hour before going to bed... etc... etc...

The club should not have been putting this upon @David and the others.
If they wanted to get the information/their side of the story out there they have established channels to do that, without putting attendees under the inevitable pressure and scrutiny!

I bet Steve Nicholson can't wait to retire.
He's a very good journo, unfortunately the paper he works for has joined the headlong rush for clickbait just to survive, and any good he can do is swamped by the rubbish his employer pushes out.
He'd have been fantastic at The Athletic.
That's not a slight on Ryan Conway either.

Ramarena reacted to Bad Sheep in Louie Sibley
We don't really know for certain. What we do know is he's not getting much game time and when he does he's put out wide, rather than in the number 10 position that he should be. Personally I think we're wasting his talent and from where I'm sitting it looks like that's down to mismanagement by Rooney. I fear he'll end up leaving for a fraction of his true value and end up fulfilling his potential elsewhere.

Ramarena reacted to europia in Respect Waz
The point being made, is that we probably should have appointed a sensible and experienced manager after the departure of Cocu. Obviously hindsight is a wonderful thing, but actually Rooney shouldn't have been anywhere near the managers job. It's pretty clear that it was a financial decision from the fallout of the ridiculous decision to sign him as a player. Not sure if anyone is actually expecting Wazza to be sacked. The clubs finances are such that it's just not an option.

Ramarena reacted to jono in Filing our accounts
The sooner we all realise this is politics not accountancy the better.
The argument is taking place within the EFL and it’s numerous committees and main board
It is those who want us punished, possibly because Mel went to war with them but really because they will lose face if we aren’t , Versus those who don’t because, right or wrong, things have gone far enough.
The rest is window dressing and self justification.

My team would be:
Roos
Byrne Stearman Davies Forsyth
Shinnie
Morrison Sibley
Jozwiak Kazim-Richards Lawrence
Subs: Allsopp Ebosele Buchanan Bird Watson Stretton Hutchinson
Brown and Williams to miss out after Tuesday's heroics, but if Buchanan isn't fit enough for the bench one of them will come in. I think Rooney will do the same except with either Bird or Watson instead of Sibley and with a more defensive set-up.

Jack Marriott hat trick.
After the third he and a team mate do a goal celebration where he pretends to be asleep and team mate then pretends to fart on him. That happens on 35 minutes.
Followed by goals from Watson, Ebesele and a brace from CKR.

Not sure if I am more mad about the EFL rules, or Roy being right.

Ramarena got a reaction from 1967Ram in Graeme Shinnie
Absolutely no way we should consider letting him go.
Yes he has his limitations, but in this division every team needs several Shinnie type players within their ranks!

Ramarena reacted to tomsdubs in Graeme Shinnie
Without Shinnie in there we would struggle to win another game as the squad stands IMO. Does all the dirty work.
-
Ramarena reacted to Dean (hick) Saunders in Graeme Shinnie
There are games when Shinny types are perfect and I would not want to sell even if squad was a bit bigger.
I do not think him and Bird play well together though. Neither are very progressive, it is either or for me between the two and the second CM must be more progressive.
