What are we giving him the benefit of the doubt for? Was he stopped in his tracks? Obstructed in any way? The answer is no.
There's no contact from that "dangling leg" that would make a human being go down like that. It's pure simulation. His knee's have given way from potential brushing of his toe? That's even if there's any contact at all.
I'm not normally that bothered with refs and dodgy decisions but that one's just pathetic. It's a dive, there's not a foul there - let's not beat around the bush.

In the last two I don't think we've been a million miles away from 6 points, despite the evident tired legs.
Four goals from four poor/unfortunate circumstances. Fozzy playing out at the wrong time, the Rooney shove, a Barks terrible corner and then a ridiculous penalty. I think we've been our own worst enemy this week - if we can avoid that there's a realistic chance we can carry on playing the same way. We're not getting outplayed, just punished.

Had a great time experiencing the culture of Plymouth in my hotel, home park and 2 Wetherspoons (Union Rooms and Britannia) ??. Now nursing my hangover and grabbing some breakfast before the long trip back home, looks a bit wet to go and explore.
I felt quite positive last night, less so today now I’ve reflected. Don’t think I’ve seen Warne as down in an interview as he was last night. Clearly he expects more which is good. First half we were excellent and we completely nullified them. Second half they were always going to come out like a steam train and thought wed dealt with it but the goals changed it, and as Warne said we didn’t respond.
Could Warne have done more with the changes, yes, could he have played Korey in midfield but then who would play RB, was Rooney fit are we just assuming he was dropped, Jason Knight who everyone says needs to play midfield. We don’t have many options, we miss Bird badly as I think our performance last night can be summed
by the first and second half performances of Harvey White who is a talent but still learning.
Don’t agree with those blaming Warne, if he got his team selection wrong as some are saying then why did we play well and dominate the first half?! Players play the game and they didn’t do their jobs second half missing tackles for the first goal. Additionally away from home against good teams you need some luck and we had none with the deflected goal and ridiculous penalty decision. Even Plymouth when they beat us at our place needed luck as Cosgrove’s equaliser was clearly offside.
Key difference for me is they have players of the right age, and they have a belief and commitment forged by being a team built over 2 seasons, like Sheff Wed, like Ipswich. They grabbed the game, we didn’t and it was nothing to do with tactics or changes. Hopefully we learned lessons at Barnsley and we learned lessons last night to prepare us for the playoffs.

Now we need to concentrate on cementing those playoffs.

Whilst the results tonight mean everybody's rearends are now twitching, I honestly don't think it was even that bad. Just tired/old/slow/young/inexperienced. Struggle to see what else you can do to make the midfield more competitive. Effectively had two DM's in there tonight and we got nowhere near them at times.
Fine for 59 minutes, even weathered the "storm" after HT. But momentum changes games, they got that from another Derby mistake. A s*** corner and a terrible penalty decision later and the games turned on it's head. Subs gave us nothing. Dobbin and Springett seriously lacking in quality. Collins completely ineffective (as was Didzy tbf). Plymouth the better team without having to create much, just more athletic and much more quality on the ball.
Luckily for us we don't have to play Plymouth every week. Oxford, Fleetwood, Forest Green and MK Dons in our next 6. If you think we can't pick up enough points to stay relevant then fair doo's. I'm not too confident we'll make waves in the Play Offs but I think we're more than good enough to get there. Hang on in there chaps and lasses.

Didn't deserve to lose that. We controlled the second half until they broke through White and got a spawny goal. Then their tales are up and the ref falls for a dive. White shouldn't have had his leg dangling, but still, it's NEVER a penalty. I was worried at halftime that at times the pressing in midfield left the back 4 overly isolated. White cannot play that role and should only play as a playmaker in a midfield 3 i.e., the hourihane role. Not only did the first goal come from White getting done too easily, Roberts just didn't track back quick enough meaning the defence got too narrow leading to the space on that side.
I must admit my patience has snapped with these officials. When that penalty was given I almost accidentally threw the remote through the tv and I still can't understand how it was given. It feels like every week they fu** up to a game-changing degree now and has cost us 4 points this week really. I think the club should look into making a formal complaint to the league (as forest has done over var decisions) because it's getting borderline ridiculous at this point.

On a final note, I don't fancy Plymouth for autos. I think they'll lose at Barnsley and be overhauled by them or Ipswich. They weren't that impressive tonight and didn't look as good as Barnsley the other week. Hope just for that shocking dive they stay down.

We need to be better with the ball though, first touch and passing is way off where it needs to be to get this over the line. These are a good footballing team and will have chances so we need to make sure we're squeaky clean.

Bar a mad 20 mins I thought the control was pretty much there yesterday. 20 mins under the cosh that all started from individual mistakes.
A call for more possession? 61% is more than enough. Second most in the league yesterday, far more than any of our rivals. Third highest possession in the league overall this year, I don’t think that’s a problem.
Theres no doubt a few are ball bagged but look at the team for what it is. Old men and inconsistent kids. Mistakes will happen and teams will have a period in the ascendancy, we’ve just got to cut out the lapses at the back.
