SSD got a reaction from angieram in v Blackburn (A) Match Thread
I don't think we played as horrible as some people made out. Our game management though from the players and the manager was horrible. 1-1, an excellent chance to press ahead and get the winner. Eustace freshed up the attack and Warne was slow to react. On top of this, defensively we couldn't do the basics and kept giving the ball away.
Cashin, goodness me he needs the good old fashioned hairdryer. Pre season he's looked pretty naff and tonight he was messing around. Stop trying to be clever and go back to being a defender.

SSD reacted to EulogyForEvolution in Cashin- what’s the matter with him?
I think he looks exposed with Elder next to him.
I may be wrong, but I don't think Elder is good enough defensively to be a full back, and doesn't give enough going forward to be wing back.
I'd put Forsyth in for now, try and move Elder on, and bring in a first choice left back.
I also wouldn't play Wilson as a full back. He's a wing back or a winger - and he's a better winger than CBT or Barkhuizen, for me.
The centre backs are too exposed with Wilson and Elder playing. Nyambe and Forsyth are a must if we're playing a back 4.

He’s got to go. Relegation zone and most teams above have a game in hand.

Also if Bradley played last night and played like Cashin did.
I dread to think the abuse he would have got.

We will get back into this one. We need to be more comfortable on the ball and stop panicking when Blackburn press.

SSD got a reaction from SKRam in Dealing with loss of a pet
Sorry to hear about your cat. Me and my wife's first cat died young, he was only two years old. We was reluctant to let him outside due to the nature of the area and how busy the roads were. Eventually he kept escaping out the back door anyway so we decided we'd let him wonder around.
Sadly, we didn't realise that the house to the back of ours had an aggressive dog who unfortunately killed our cat. I was working from home at the time and I heard a woman screaming over the back of garden. It went quieter and I didn't think anymore of it. A few minutes later they called me and explained what happened. It was horrific and my wife was distraught. There were loads of other cats in the area and none of them had been attacked by any dogs. It must have been really bad timing.
Honestly, I felt more upset about the cat dying than going to any recent funeral. Whether that was the guilt of not keeping an eye on the animal more, I don't know. It took me a long time to come to terms with it.

Just looking for advice. Our brilliant cat was hit by a car (whilst we were out of the country so had to say our goodbyes via FaceTime so she could hear our voices at the end) and just feel utterly miserable.
Any advice on how to ease the pain of losing a pet?
Anyone do anything nice with their ashes or anything?
Not sure where else to ask and I like the anonymity the forum gives for opening up like this.
Anyone here’s to my beautiful idiot

I've stepped away from social media now. The amount of misinformation and blatant lying is unacceptable and people need to start being prosecuted for it. I won't delve into political conversations at the risk of being banned. I will try and word it as best as I can without sitting on the fence.
What has happened over recent days could have easily killed innocent people in this country. Yes, there are genuine reasons why people are angry, however the way social media has fueled absolute rubbish stories has led to a mob mentality online and in-person, as a consequence it has got to the point of where city centres are at risk of violence. Mainly fueled by lies of others. These fake stories are ludicrous and we need regulation to stop this from happening. Social media is way past its original innocent design of connecting with friends and sharing pictures of your holiday. There has to be consequences and not a wild west of hatred. The sooner it is cracked down the better.
