mwram1973 reacted to Leeds Ram in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Nowhere did I mention DC. As I said, I think Warne's appointment (no matter its circumstances) was overly rash, short sighted and for me destined to fail.

I don't think all the details will come out if he decides to stay as coach tbh.

Your assuming that it was solely DC's doing. How do you know that LR kept on rejecting the contracts offered him, wanting more money etc. How do you know that DC hasn't got fed up with the delays and said, ya know what let's look elsewhere.
LR said negotiations was ongoing so it wasn't as if he wasn't offered something.

We need to wait for a full statement from all parties.

Maybe so. Was said that he turned down Blackpool because the terms weren't what he wanted.

Tbh, it was what Rooney was saying when he left.

Absolutely nail it here again as you often do. Incredibly short sighted appointment

He hasn't ever had a competitive squad or budget. Even at League One level, his budget and squad wasn't brilliant. He did well to get them promoted three times. He has good pedigree in League One.
What evidence was there that Rosenior would be a success? His football was neat and tidy, but ultimately slow and a bit toothless. Slightly Cocu, in my opinion.

mwram1973 reacted to Ambitious in Rosenior or Warne?
It’s not an easy question, because I have so much respect for Liam Rosenior and would’ve been happy to see him take on the job for the next 18 months.
However, if it was my money on the table and promotion was required this season to stem further bleeding then I would absolutely go with Warne.
Emotional choice would be Rosenior, business choice would be Warne.

He's managed 9 games, stats like that mean nothing, he could lose the next 4 games, then how would the win % look after only 13 games.

Clueless post.
Wait until we hear official confirmation and reasoning before jumping to such a childish conclusion.

Bird and Hourihane again. No legs, drive, running, wanting the ball in midfield. Too many errors in Cashin’s game, overrated. Losing this may not be the end for LR, but it will be the beginning of the end. No more excuses for players who aren’t putting it in.

Whats the bigger picture then?. Clowes WILL be wetting himself with every point we get further away from the top 2, he's invested 10's of millions of pounds.
It's easy to sit there and say give it time, it's not your money is it!!. That squad should be smashing most teams in this league.
LR has been here for longer than 8 games, if he had no input to tactics with Rooney then our form would have changed dramatically once he took sole charge......it hasn't, less goals than Burton and over 3hrs of football away from home without a goal or a point.

Not answered my question, what's the bigger picture that Clowes is thinking of. Think you'll find i've never said I want him sacked. You must have missed my earlier post saying I never call for a managers head.
Imo he's not doing a good enough job.

I think the problem is, the style of play isn't working. Teams are just allowing us to fanny around with it at the back and midfield.
If LR changes the whole style of play he's admitting his way of playing was wrong. No manager will do that so they keep playing the same way until one of 2 things happen. We get a few lucky wins and he keeps his job going or we keep losing and he gets sacked.
Imo we are going one way. This squad should be easily top 3-4 yet we've scored less goals than Burton.
He talks the talk but for me he can't walk the walk.
