Nationwide takeaway delivery overlords, who appear not to care/to turn a blind eye/openly encourage their public-facing representatives to break highway laws, and c*** a snook at decency, morality... and the safety of others.

Reg-plated motorised scooters on pedestrian walkways.
Pedal cycles without lights... after dark/before daylight... ridden by deliverers without any visible clothing beyond the black spectrum.
RLJ's by the daily dozen.
On the phone whilst driving/riding.
All emblazoned by the very names and logos of said takeaway delivery overlords.  Advertising the very worst... and in some cases, potentially the most likely to result in severe injury/death... of highway safety and consideration to others.
 
Oh... and give those back boxes a wash will yer... yer filthy b*******!

England World Cup winner George Cohen has died, aged 83.
The right-back played every minute of the six matches in the 1966 tournament and was vice-captain for the 4-2 win over West Germany in the Wembley final.
Manchester United's legendary winger George Best described him as "the best full back I ever played against”.
He is survived by just two of the '66 final starting 11... Bobby Charlton and Geoff Hurst.

My post... and the one preceding it... were in DIRECT response to the following comment by @jimtastic56:
"But after 4 unsuccessful attempts at the play-offs can Warne do what the likes of McClaren could not do".
I made no reference to not celebrating a successful outcome this season.
You can over-analyse my response(s) to your hearts content, should that be your want, but I was merely pointing out that Mr Warne won't even get the chance to do that until the end of next (23/24) season.  A successful outcome this season still would not have achieved what "the like of McClaren could not do", as that was simply and purely to win The Championship Play Offs.
Yes, he could well win the play off this season, and by God yes, yes, and thrice yes, we should all be jubilant should that be so... as will I, obvs!... but that still wouldn't put Mr Warne one step ahead of "the likes of McClaren", who were vying to win The Championship Play Offs. 
If that be the case, should we go on a Phantasmagorical run good enough to finish top this season, will that put Mr Warne on a par with what Mr Clough snr achieved with us... or Mr Mackay, for that matter... Winning a league x 1?  ?‍♂️  I think not!  ?
 
Be assured... By their very nature, all of my posts... on any subject... are rather simple, uncomplicated, and unworthy of such analysis.  They really aren't worth such effort, on the reader's part!

I hope no one minds me posting in here but I am a Cheltenham Town fan that comes in peace.
I am a member of the Mayor of Cheltenham's charity committee and in our game against the Rams on Saturday 14th January 2023, the Mayor of Cheltenham Charities will be bucket collecting to raise funds for Feed Cheltenham (https://feedcheltenham.weebly.com) and Cheltenham Housing Aid Centre (CHAC) (www.chac.org.uk)
Both of these charities do great work and more information can be found on their websites, links above.
We appreciate during these difficult times, finding extra money to support charity is difficult for all of us, but if all fans donated just 20p the potential is there to raise over £1000 for these incredible charities.
We will be able to take cash and card and look forward to welcoming you all to the Completely Suzuki Stadium on the day.

It’s understandable for some of us to perhaps feel a little bitter at the way we were treated but the simple fact is they broke different rules to us. Rules that it would seem can attract a suspended punishment. I don’t think you can really compare the two offences. A bit like in the real world, some crimes attract an immediate punishment whilst for others the punishment can be suspended.
