My expectation is that we will see a straight swap with Lawrence for Sibley. Don't get me wrong, not much between them currently but neither can say they are undroppable and I think Rooney will persist with Lawrence.

The fan of today would say, terrible marking for their goals. We only got a draw because of two lucky breaks. The players should do better. They need better coaching.

I think there is a perfect storm of stuff that is contributing to me losing virtually all interest in the Rams, a club I have supported since 1967.

In no particular order:

On the pitch: Playing low entertainment football, no real crowd pleaser, low goals rate. Cobbled together team of old men and kids without a clear policy.

Off the pitch: Total shambles of an organisation, apparently in conflict with people who can really hurt you, HMRC EFL. Owner who has gone silent. The car crash fallout really showed the club up in a terrible light in so many ways.

Match scheduling: Its great to have footy available almost every night on TV but as a live football fan I want 3:00 on a Saturday. Mid week and oddball times really irritate me, particularly sitting freezing on a mid week winter game . Result I'lll stay at home and watch good football in the warm (heresy I know, but it is what it is).

Price: Saving on two tickets, car park etc easily covers Sky, BT Sport, Amazon Prime subscriptions with left overs for a few decent bottles of Scotch. 

CoVid showed how quick you can find other stuff to do on match days.

Hard fans will say there reasons for each of the above issues, but it's a bit like the old Chinese Water torture (other nations are available), the cumulative effect gets to you. AND IT HAS.

About 27,000 home tickets sold for Forest out of 30,000 and 26,000 for Boro. Big increase in support since Huddersfield.

Although I had a go about this thread earlier I do realise you are not one of the constant repetitive doom mongers Archied. Just seems so obvious that no matter what our opinion of the team or the management we really do  need to get behind them. I just can't see the point in shouting Rooney out or this players that or this players the other. 

Any solution needs to firstly come off field.

I thought Mac was on Talk Sport or something the other day heaping praise on Rooney? Is he misguided? 

I thought we all understood that the squad and management were up against it and it was time for better or worse to stick with them? Didn't last long did it. 

Sibley has attacking intent but apart from one game hadn't really delivered much. Still got plenty to prove to me personally. It's all about opinion.

Thought it was interesting that Rooney said he moved Morrison deeper as we needed more control. Worked a treat and credit to the manager.
