Well, if you read what I put very carefully, they’ve only secured funding, they haven’t actually bought the ground yet. They could still pull out! And then we get liquidated.
More like it?

Very much doubt it - they'd be most likely be borrowing from the PWLB, basically a government fund with the sole purpose of loaning to councils. The rate increased by 1% a few years ago to around 2.8%, which is just a little more than the average BTL interest rate at 2.5%. I'd imagine they'd source funding on a interest only basis, lease out at a healthy profit yield, say 6-7%. Then in theory, they're making circa 3-4% per annum with very little upfront payment. They'd then include an option/obligation to buy, similar to a lease option agreement on a property, to ensure the property is sold before the finance period expires.

Sign him up then! We haven't done too shabby with the London boys we've brought up in recent years.

FWIW, in a rare bit of itk, I happen to know that the council have secured funding to purchase the stadium. So hopefully that one will be resolved soon.

Clickbait on his tweets from yesterday. The takeover has to happen, it's obvious. Don't need the DET to tell us that!

I think the council have already said they are able to borrow money at very competitive rates to be able to purchase the stadium that would then be recouped.
Let's not forget, Derby City Council will be weighing up the cost of buying our stadium versus the cost to the city by doing nothing and losing the club.
However much the stadium cost I bet that would end up being the cheapest option in the long run.

Been playing on and off for the U18's, seen his name crop up for the last few months. The academy recruitment from Premier League cast offs has been brilliant so if they think this lad has what it takes, I'd be very happy with him.

I'll be honest,it was just an excuse to throw young Jamie under the bus (metaphorically... for now)

Exactly this. After all the negative headlines over the last couple of years, no news is surely good news. The press won't want to do a positive story on us, so without any negatives, they have nothing to report.

There's such a thing as exaggeration and poetic license. I know people will travel up purely due to it being bank holiday weekend, than coming to sit in the home stands. RD on Monday were laughing about the Allez Allez Allez song being incorrect now and were asking for revisions...despite it being revised. Just because RD say something, doesn't mean it's 100% correct.
Regarding alcohol, it was a footnote on one of the ticket posts that advised alcohol wouldn't be for sale in the away stand. Just ask Nick Webster and co can advise how much hassle the Blackpool stewards can be, the absolute worst of the lot. They don't even need a sign of trouble to throw you out without question then press charges. Best behaviour is needed from everyone.

If the EFL administered unemployment benefit the first things they would do is raise your rent and council tax then ban you from leaving the house between 9 am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Davies and Bird for me, absolutely no questions about it.
Take Davies out of the team and you're left with Stearman as the only senior CB. Bird has been the senior CM throughout the season and has played excellent, removing him would leave a huge hole as shown during his suspension.

No they'll probably accept it, sign off on it and find fault with it 2-3 years down the line.

It would just sum the whole thing up if the EFL rejected his business plan because he formatted it in Times New Roman and they only accept business plans written in Comic Sans.

Ram@Lincoln reacted to LeedsCityRam in Relegation.. priorities?
Complete the sale
Rooney stays
Get as many of the expiring contracts signed up for next season as possible
Rebuild our first team squad & under 23s with young, hungry talent
Supporters turn up in massive numbers to PP and away
Stick together as a fanbase when times are tough, which they will be at points
Nail all that & no reason we can't come straight back up. COYR ??

Ram@Lincoln reacted to Bald Eagle's Barmy Army in Rooney at Moor Farm
I've seen some supposed Derby supporters saying what was the point in going to Moor Farm last night.
Absolute duckwits - they'll be the same ones who decide to now stay away for the next two home games and won't appear in league one until we're in the top two comfortably.
We support through thick and thin - we don't just go when we get free tickets or the icing has started to be put on the cake.
If I could thank each and everyone of you that turned up last night, I would. ?♥️

At least Derby will be playing throughout the World Cup at the end of the year if they end up in league one.
