I hope Warne can get in a couple of new players of his liking when the transfer window opens. After that we could go a long way forward.

I noticed that I missed a word on my post. I meant to say about B4 that he was the epitome of a SUPPORTER. I guess B4 if anyone will understand me making a mistake while emotional.

No, nothing yet. It really is very early days and I think they are just trying to understand their loss.
I will keep in touch and let everyone know what they decide to do.

Crushed to hear this terrible news. My heart goes for the family of Daniel. So often he lifted my spirits and made me smile. He was the  of a SUPPORTER. You will be missed.

A stranger we had yet to meet.
    Our paths had never crossed.
And yet, it seems, we knew him well,
A dear friend we have lost.
A heart of gold, a Kindly soul,
    A friendly word to each.
A clumsy gaff may oft appear,
    But ne’er offence be reached.
A call to arms, a plea for fight,
    A positive embrace.
    Defiant stance, a pumping fist,
    A smile on his face.
Hatred of pink, and all things red,
More strangers for him to meet.
“A sea of black and white” he’d call,
“Let’s all stand at our seat”!
    A disregard for marriage,
    for relationships of two,
    “Never, ever” he would wail,
    “That would never do”!
Yet he loved all, and we loved him.
    His quirks always forgiven,
    His stubbornness frustrated,
But missed, now he’s in Heaven.
The truest Ram, amongst us all,
    Now gone for evermore.
    For Daniel, for DCFC
    Let’s all be more B4

Over 9 years ago I took my lad to his first away game. Charlton, midweek in the 6 weeks holidays.

A game I’ll never forget. He was only 5 at the time. I could see that as soon as we walked into the ground, he might struggle with just how loud it was. We got to our seat and the game just about to kick off and everybody standing. He was only 4 foot tall so I told him to stand on his seat. He still couldn’t see properly but at least it was better. The next minute, a friendly face appeared offering us both a sweet, unbeknown to me at the time it was B4 - my lad then fell down the back of his seat hurting both his legs. B4 was straight there making sure he was OK and for the next 90 minutes made regular check ins with him to see if he was OK and reassuring him not all games are like that.

At HT we spoke at length and swapped user ID’s on dcfcfans. The next day I received the below message direct from Daniel. It epitomises everything about the guy and from that moment, he’s always held a special place in my heart and always will do. Not many like him but I’m so glad our paths crossed that night.

RIP buddy, DCFC won’t be the same place without you. 💙💙

So, it seems it wasn’t just me he was looking out for when posting about my own troubles on here.
It appears he’s PM’d pretty much every one of us in our hours of need, and offered his unique advise to us all… and all in private!

First and foremost, my thoughts are with Daniel's friends and family, I cannot imagine what they are going through right now.
I heard the news last night and it came as a huge shock, B4 as we knew him so fondly by will be a huge loss to the forum.
He was Mr Positivity, Derby County's biggest cheerleader, even during the bad times his positivity would shine through.
I know his Dad was at the game today with a scarf on his seat, whilst we haven't closed the gap on Portsmouth in Daniel's final rallying call on this forum, I'm sure he will be over the moon with the 3 goals and 3 points today.
DCFC Fans will be honouring Daniel in time to ensure he remains in our memories, we will also be contacting the club in due course to see what can be done during a game.
Suggestions are welcomed as we all come to terms with the loss.
    Rest in peace Daniel. ❤️🐏

I have some very sad news this evening.  Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful  and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always.
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him.
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

I have seen thousands of ice hockey games and I have spend thousands of hours on ice myself. I can say that was an accident. Petgrave tried to tackle a player who managed to slip away from it which caused Petgrave go airborne. You can't control yourself in that situation.
It happens so quick. When you watch it on tv in slow motion again and again it looks so different.
    RIP Adam Johnson.

Cisse reacted to Day in Points Deduction, Who's Next And When Will It Stop?
Points deductions cannot be the answer, why are the management team and players punished for something out of their control?
When the players were not paid on time, they were given another point deduction, double whammy there, much like ourselves when the points deduction relegated us.
Playing at a lower level, potentially missing out on international call ups, wage, bonus decrease....ok the club sees a loss of revenue and that hurts the owners in the pocket, yet those that are punished the most are everyone under the ownership.
You have to issue fines to the owners, not insignificant fines that leave owners taking the risk. Withdrawing TV revenue money and other bonuses issued by the league.
Fines that make owners know that when entering the game they cannot F around here and take the piss.
Reading might be a terrible away day, their ground might be half empty with no atmosphere, but the staff, players, fans they don't deserve any of this.

Cisse reacted to Day in Be honest. Do you dislike old people?
Also I'm 41 and have tattoos, I can only speak for myself and my own reasons to help you understand mine.
Basically, I had a long battle with anxiety, which itself can be difficult to understand for older people, I didn't speak to my Dad for many years after telling me basically to "man up".
"If there was a war on, you can't stay inside and refuse to fight as you're too scared to leave the house"
Back to the anxiety, I lost most of my twenties and early 30s through it. My first tattoo was the date I launched this forum which was created during this time.
I wanted it as a permanent reminder that I can go outside, sit in a chair and it's all perfectly normal.
Being permanent was kinda the point, I never wanted to lose that reminder.
It was only small, took maybe half hour to complete.
Shortly after I had a relapse so it didn't really work, but fell in love with the tattoo culture, the stories they tell. Even the Benidorm 2023 arse cheek tattoo someone will have had done will be part of their story.
As I came back out of my dark spell, I continued up my arm along the battle theme, my Dad was a manager at Rolls Royce, always took us plane spotting so I went with spitfires.
I have a quote, there is no victory without a battle, a skull tattoo with a helmet missing a tooth and so on.
They almost become a bit of an addiction, I wanted all my story on there, one of my favourites is my dog which I had done whilst he's still alive as I know when he's no longer here I will be in bits and could never sit and have it done without boiling my eyes out.
My intention was only ever to have one, now I have 2 full sleeves, neck, spine, hands, half of one leg and a small bit on the other.
It's my story permanently inked on my body. I won't lie, I have some which are just because I liked the art, but 90% are super meaningful to myself.
They are not for everyone and I can see how some people may dislike tattoos, which is absolutely fine at the end of the day we're all individuals on our own paths in life. I would have no problem with any old person that turned to me and said my tattoos were s***.
Oh I'm also technically obese as the NHS would say, I have no defence for that other than I love a few pints.
