Bolton fan in peace and sincerely hoping you survive. Just a comment regarding HMRC from our experience. HMRC tried to have us wound up by issuing a winding-up order on a number of occasions, first occasion was £600k bill and that was resolved in court by our ex-owner (we think) writing a cheque. The second occasion was just before we went into Admin with a bill of ~£1.2m. We went to court a number of times as the search for a new owner was continuing (prior to Admin - which I think protects you from Winding up orders) eventually we went into Admin, as it was clear we couldn't clear that debt.
When the deal completed, as I understand it, pretty much our first cheque from the new owners, was to HMRC to settle the outstanding.
The situation was same with Bury, over much smaller amounts. HMRC issued a number of winding up orders.
It felt to us like HMRC were just dying to wind up a few football clubs, and in our case, there was no "dealing" with them, other than to find a way to pay and buying time through the Admin route.

Good luck with your fight - it's always the fans that suffer.

    Now that’s quite feasible.
I think the crux of the whole situation is the HMRC seeming to be doing right by everyone.
Teams like Leicester were so lucky going to administration with the old rules for HMRC .
Not sure if we owed Tax when Stuart Webb saved us if we did maybe we were lucky to survive then !
If it was simple for the administrators to do a deal with HMRC the deal with them would have been rubber stamped by now .
We await the outcome and get behind the club and team .
I am off to Bristol tomorrow and will be shouting the team on from the stands

It’s like fans pick a scapegoat and then they always have a vendetta against that player. Keogh, Fozzy, Roos.... I think overall Roos has done well with some good saves over time. His mistakes are highlighted because of his position. Carson was definitely better than our current keepers. Fozzy was poor against QPR but he has had a few matches where he has looked amazing. It’s incredible he has come back from his injury. He can be inconsistent though. Morrison doesn’t pick the right pass at the right time for me but I am hopeful he will have a part to play this season. Lawrence can be frustrating but has ability no doubt. Could be a key player this season. The slate is wiped clean before every match for me regardless of how the players performed in previous match- as long as there was commitment.

What i find is frustrating is fans coming on here slagging off the same players day in day out , win or lose , Kelle, Fozzy, Tom and Ravel cannot win in some fans eyes , i thought this was the season when the club , management , players and fans united together in the fight for Derby County Football Club , sadly it looks like i was wrong

Pretty philosophical about that - usually I'd be gutted at losing late on having led but thought they were excellent. Best team we've played this season in my opinion.
We started really brightly with a couple of early chances before Lawrence's superb opener - lots of intent & purpose. Thereafter QPR started to boss the game - their quick, one touch passing was difficult to close down & they had real movement out wide & up top. They were however struggling to get a decent sight on goal, mainly due to how well we were screening them but still felt we were a smidge fortunate to go in ahead.
Their equaliser although not unexpected, was totally preventable. Yes, they broke on us but the reality was they had 2 men versus our 5 - one of whom was crossing the ball. Shinnie was totally at fault here - was covering left back then inexplicably drifted away from Willock whilst ball watching. Cracking finish from their lad but just brainless from us.
Whilst we huffed & puffed after, we didn't seriously look like threatening them again. Lawrence's service was cut off & of the subs, only Ebosele made any impact. Totally see why Rooney wanted to push full backs on to try & overload them but we still lacked any serious presence in the box. Quality was a real issue all night too - a lot of misplaced passes & sloppy touches.
They definitely had the better chances that last 30 mins & the corner count (1 v 11) also showed we were second best. Couldn't legislate for their winner when it came - Chair should have scored anyway but an unbelievable strike from Gray with his back to goal.
Chin up everyone, we go again. COYR

Magnificance performance. My Fulham supporting mate who was there said "Derby play with great spirit. AMAZING given situation". I'm inclined to agree.

So we’ve played the best 2 teams in the league who are both bang in form, got 4 points and managed to reduce the gap to safety by 2 points. Massive 2 games and 4 points. Next target to get the gap into single figures. Couldn’t be prouder.

You're spot on. Then just before half-time we got a peno. Sturridge had hold of the ball but Asanovic grabbed it off him, put it in the spot and tucked it away.

That's just a fan that's completely lost touch with reality, innit? When was the last time Derby were 3:0 down and came back to win 4:3? Answers on a postcard.
I remember it the other way round and being at Leeds with Derby 3:0 up at the break. In true Rams' fashion we ended up losing 4:3.
