  1. I like Paul Warne and am desperate for him to succeed at DCFC. I like his style, his honesty and feel he has integrity and moral compass. However, serious questions to be asked following yesterdays performance which was too similar to previous performances:

    - why is there such a lack of creativity in our play when he has had such a long time with this squad?
    - why do we not impose ourselves on weaker opposition, especially at home?

    - why does it take us to concede a goal in order for us to display energy and desire?

    - why do we never have any runners beyond Collins, when our tactic is so often hitting the ball directly towards him in the air? Seriously, what are we achieving with this tactic without runners around or beyond him?

    - why do players not appear more motivated when you consider our position and the opportunity we have, especially in the earlier parts of each game when we are far too passive?

My opinion is that if he and the coaching team can resolve the 5 questions above, we can and will make the automatic positions. If we continue not to, then the best we can hope for is a play off lottery, and I wouldn’t fancy our chances over two legs against anybody if the issues have still not been resolved. Quality coaching and leadership now required for the remainder of the season. 🐏

It’s my favourite childhood memory too mate.

I was 10 but remember it as clearly as any other memory in my whole life!

later that year me and my brother got a PlayStation for Christmas and the genuine surprise at unwrapping that is my second favourite childhood memory.

    1996 was my favourite year

Will never forget the long summer days as well, with Euro 96 games the only distraction. What a year 1996 was pal 🐏

  3. ATG

Vickers 6.5 - sound replacement but not as assured as Wildsmith which is to be expected as lacking game time. Still second choice keeper in my opinion

    Nelson 7

    Bradley 6

Cashin 9 - MOTM for me, only player on the pitch who retrieved what looked like a couple of lost causes. A colossal performance

Wilson 8.5 - I love this guy, strongest performer in the first half

Bird 8.5 - Composed, hard working and two much needed assists

    Hourihane 7

    Fornah 6

    Forsyth 6

    Elder 7

John-Jules 6 - Disappointing performance, hopefully not working too hard to avoid injury which could hamper his chances of a return move? Hopefully I’m wrong on this one as I feel he would be a major asset for the remainder of the season

Barkhuizen 6.5 - flatters to deceive despite the late goal. Not showing the same work ethic as his teammates

Mendez-Laing 8.5 - Strong performance, excellent taken goal, worked hard to get back and releases the pressure with lung busting runs which sometimes goes unnoticed. Our most influential player with the exception of Cashin

Collins 8 - underrated. Absolute work horse who is contributing more quality and goals to the team. Hold up play also improving. Keep up the good work Collo.

Thompson 7 - Very effective when introduced, he was going to be introduced a few minutes earlier just as they pulled a goal back. Determined and relentless, with underestimated power and technically impressive. Will have a big part to play for us this season.

A big shout out to all players and coaching staff who took the time to have their photo taken with my lad as they arrived of the team coach, much appreciated 🐏

Andy, who is Daniel's dad, has just rung me to say that he has started to read through all your wonderful messages today. They have made him and Daniel's mum Lynne, cry and laugh in equal measure.

Andy, Lynne, Daniel's sister Claire, their poodle Marley (Daniel was his butler!) and all the rest of the family are very grateful for the kind messages.

Regarding a tribute, they would prefer a round of applause on the 38th minute of the next home League game against Bristol Rovers on 25th November. There will be more friends and family who know Daniel there on that day, so it would seem more  appropriate than the cup replay this week.

@David and @Owen87ITK, I  don't know if you can help organise this? And is it possible to have a photo on the big screen or is that not allowed?

Andy has also asked me to share this photo of Daniel's seat yesterday, with a big thank you to all who came up to him to chat or offer condolences. He really appreciated it.

Very cheeky photo as well, what a guy! 🐏

  5. Just a thought, hopefully somebody close to the club can make it happen v Bristol Rovers.

Rams shirt produced with ‘RIP B4’ on the back. It is shown on the scoreboard in either the 4th or 38th minute in the ground. A minute applause from fans whichever minute the family deem most appropriate. Shirt is signed by the squad post game and presented to his parents.

I appreciate the club cannot always show this level of tribute following the passing of a fan, but B4 was a one off, and everything DCFC epitomises. He deserves a tribute such as this in my opinion, and one which will give him the send off he deserves 🐏

  6. I know a lot of others have already commented on the joy that Kane Wilson seems to bring to the occasion.

As a school teacher, he constantly reminds me of the kid in the playground who always wants the ball, always has a smile on his face and loves to make magic happen. It is as though he forgets he is performing in front of so many rams fans.

Cherish this player whilst we are fortunate enough to have him folks, he is one of a kind 🐏

A stranger we had yet to meet.
    Our paths had never crossed.
And yet, it seems, we knew him well,
A dear friend we have lost.

A heart of gold, a Kindly soul,
    A friendly word to each.
A clumsy gaff may oft appear,
    But ne’er offence be reached.

A call to arms, a plea for fight,
    A positive embrace.
    Defiant stance, a pumping fist,
    A smile on his face.

Hatred of pink, and all things red,
More strangers for him to meet.
“A sea of black and white” he’d call,
“Let’s all stand at our seat”!

    A disregard for marriage,
    for relationships of two,
    “Never, ever” he would wail,
    “That would never do”!

Yet he loved all, and we loved him.
    His quirks always forgiven,
    His stubbornness frustrated,
But missed, now he’s in Heaven.

The truest Ram, amongst us all,
    Now gone for evermore.
    For Daniel, for DCFC
    Let’s all be more B4

This is absolutely brilliant, hopefully his family will get the opportunity to see this and consider using it at his farewell. Fantastic job mate.

  8. I have been viewing the DCFC rams forum for around 10 years. I have never needed to open a account, as I only care about checking what my fellow Rams family have to say, until now………

B4 - I have finally registered to this fine forum to pay tribute to you. I have met you a few times at away matches and have always revelled in the hundreds of posts that you wrote. You were an absolute inspiration and beacon of positivity, thank you for always improving my mood. I hope you find the best fish and chip shop up there pal.

I also hope you can sprinkle some magic for the remainder of the season to see us to promotion, nobody deserves this more than you my friend. 🐏
