I still think it will be Ashley, as he is probably the one who can see the most value in us and how we could turn things around over the next few seasons and climb back up the football ladder again. However, I'd be interested to know who else is left as their were reports that some bids had been made by groups not in the frame previously and there hasn't been much in the way of speculation on those.

    Quite.
I'm starting to think the 'roll eyes' reaction needs to make a temporary return until it's all done and dusted, specifically for use on posts ragging on the administrators every time there's nothing to report, and those who've suddenly become experts in the process seeing as they like to tell us how incompetent a job they're doing.

I think Derby fans need to realise and accept that Quantuma (or any other nominated administrator) is not here to serve the interests of the club, staff or supporters and never have been.

Get this into your head and stop working yourselves up into a frenzied panic.

Even if they seal a deal or two that is brilliant for Derby County’s future, they will not be excited about it and nor are they obliged to communicate it.

They shouldn’t be making promises to interested parties that they have to obligations to serve and shouldn’t be committing to updates they have no interest in providing. But let’s be clear, they’re here to milk the club whilst trying to spend the club’s money.

How the club ends up is not their concern/problem or focus!

You’ve looked through my last 15 posts on one thread? Well that’s balanced.
Because I choose to make informed, balanced comments based on my own opinion from watching the games, instead of using over inflated, over excited hyperbole to describe someone I’ve read about on Twitter or seen as a sub for 3 mins when we were 3-0 down?
Funnily enough I checked out your posts from the previous twenty pages of just your posts…..and it seems you have an opinion on everything from Covid, to admin, to TV to the weather. Granted you’ve contributed articulately and thoughtfully on all those, but the one topic I’ve barely seen you post an opinion on the actual football match or the footballer other than post match ratings where it’s acceptable to mark a player out of 10 without understanding or commenting  on any of the nuances that contribute to it.
You may not agree with my comments or indeed like them but all I’m doing is posting an opinion and while it’s sometimes harsh it’s never scathing, abusive or vindictive. But it is after all a football forum and honest opinions, even if unpopular, are what it is for. However none of my comments on young players are even close to some of what I’ve read on matchday threads when things are going badly including some aimed at one or two of the younger players.
You may not like them but my comments are anything but ignorant or ill informed. I’ve been inside pro football as a player and a coach. I’ve coached several current pros inc premier league players and been in youth development at a Category 1 academy. I could discuss the finer points all day long but in a forum it often comes across differently in short one line observations.
But fwiw, our predicament at the moment is in danger of harming as many players as it aids. Players fast tracked into 23s or 1st team football too soon often on the back of some promising performances at U18s level isn’t always good. Robinson for example may well end up a decent player but trust me when I say he’s finding U23s football hard and keeping his head above water by keeping the game simple and trying not to make mistakes isn’t good for him on the long run and in 2/3 years time when someone is criticising him for not having more tools on his toolbox of game skills and asking why he doesn’t play forwards more often, or break lines with his passing it’ll be because he was being asked to play at a level too high too soon and wasn’t able to take risks, try things out, spend time on the ball and make mistakes. He’s not the only one either.
This is the very reason why someone like Louie Watson isn’t being rushed into the first team where the pressure to retain possession and not ‘cost the team’ by taking a risk is much greater and as much as he may not like it right now, he’ll be a better player for being given a little more time where he is. I’ve seen the criticism of Max Bird…and it won’t be long before the same people say the same things about Liam Thompson.
I’m happy to talk football all day. But don’t expect to like or agree with me, which is fine, but likewise don’t criticise me for how I express an opinion.

25 years ago, 7 match ban and warned about my future conduct, No "knob ed" 4th goal went in from Sunderland lost 0-5,  Lionel Pickering said on the day..."if Derby fans want to moan then go and watch Forest"
"no true fan would do it because they wouldn't want the ban that goes with it"

On the attendance, all clubs will have a significant minority of fans who for whatever reason cannot attend regularly. A few years ago I was a student in Lancaster so I couldn't afford to come down often to watch us play. Even when I moved to Leeds (so closer to home) I often found it difficult to make games for financial reasons. The fact is people aren't going to exchange heating or food for a football ticket and no-one should shame them for not doing so. Some people don't go all the time because they like to go with family and/or friends, and if they can't sit with their mate or family then they'd rather not attend. I'm all up for going on my own but I recognise many people see football as much a social activity as about the game.
Only west brom, sheffield united and forest down the road have a higher average than we do and that's largely because of our very low attendances in the first few games. The fact we're 4th in the division for average attendances despite everything is something we should all be proud of. It shows the depth of feeling in the community for the club.

That's a bit unfair to those fans who came to the Birmingham game. Lots incidentally from other clubs but many Derby fans who travelled the length of the country (and further!) to get there. Can't necessarily do the same for a midweek fixture.
I appreciate anyone extra who turns up at a time when money is tight for many. There were a row of eight in front of me last night who weren't regulars. Made lots of noise and really enjoyed themselves. I hope they'll be back when they can.
The DCCT initiative will make a visible increase in numbers for the Peterborough game - the first one for which it applies- and hopefully for the rest of the season.
I think we're doing a good job when you look around other grounds in the division.

As has been posted many times on here we are all Derby fans wanting the club to escape this. It does no good whatsoever having a go at other fan groups - we need to be united to survive. And also as has been posted many times and also clearly states on their website it is very cheap and easy to join RamsTrust - its not on old boys club with a waiting list, huge joining fee and funny handshake. If everyone moaning wants to be more involved just join it or shut up having a go at people really just working as hard as they can to save our club. All the different ways make a difference.
