They've been asking continuously. It's fair to say the administrators are less than keen to go down this route.
However, a guy from BAWT has been selected to work on ideas, this was last week. Waiting to hear what he comes up with now.
Buckets are "small change" and fraught with collection and accountability issues.
I think crowd funding is the way to go, but it has to be well organised and from a trusted source to get the really big bucks.
I also think the administrators worry about potential strings attached to any large donations (the ones that would make a difference).
They also worry what they would do with the money if it was more than they needed.
I know, sounds like excuses to me too.
Really these administrators are establishment, just like all the other big players. I really do think they need to start thinking outside the box a bit more. Football's in the state it is in because it's controlled by the same types of people all the time.

It's nota big deal. The money being withheld will go to Arsenal or Lech one way or another and will be accounted for when the administrators show proof of funding for the season.

How many are available to leave on a free in the summer? The administrators cannot reduce the club to a state to any less that it already is

At this moment in time,if i were a creditor i would be pushing the administrators as to why players haven't been sold while they have the chance, there is no guarantee of more money in the future. As for never coming out of administration EFL rules clearly state "no club is allowed to remain in administration for Two consecutive seasons"

The problem with DCFC is debts outweigh the value, that's the reason Mel couldn't get it sold without administration and even administration isn't really getting the value enough to be a good deal if everyone gets paid enough to be an amicable CVA and the league be happy.
That's why -15 is in the conversation.
    It's a grim situation.

Thanks for not mentioning it. ?
I'm sure most of us can't even remember this incident, and I think it's pathetic of you to raise it as some kind of equivalence with QPR overspending by over £40M, but we can remember O'Neill's professional foul that stopped a potential one-on-one and epitomised a cynical display by a club which, at the time, was itself the epitome of arrogance and entitlement. I also have to say that your supporters behaved without a scrap of humility that day, and for a long time afterwards.
No-one would argue that QPR haven't been on a long, hard journey since, and appear to be doing it the right way now. But, after some reasonable contributions, you're falling into the same mindset that I see in most QPR fans on Social Media : that you are the only victims of your behaviour.
You were lucky you got promoted, you were lucky that PDs weren't a punishment then, you were lucky Mel Morris decided not to sue you for compensation, and you were even more lucky that it wasn't Middlesbrough you beat in that final.

This is one for the conspiracy theorists - Middlesbrough right back is currently on loan at notts forest and is doing extremely well - Middlesbrough can recall the right back in this window or just sell him to other interested clubs, they choose to do neither and let him stay on loan at notts forest - Notts forest are a direct competitor for a play off place so it make little sense letting him stay there. Unless both the chief executive of Middlesbrough and notts forest sit on the EFL board together and the owner of Middlesbrough wants to keep notts forest on his side?
I would have thought the other play off contenders may well have noticed this as well

I know QPR are far more rational now an I'm mostly over it. Mostly.
You're right though, it can be hard to get fans on board with the long dull hard road of sensibly rebuilding.

The majority of the overspend could have been avoided if Tony Fernandes hadn’t got star struck and listened to first Mark “I interviewed QPR” Hughes who used his agent for all of his signings including Stephan Mbia who thought he was signing for the Glasgow version of Rangers, all on big contracts with no relegation clause in them, then allowing Harry the spiv Redknapp to overload the squad again with his favourites who follow him everywhere.
All we had to do when we first went up in 2011 was to stick with the squad who got us there and use the money to improve the infrastructure.
it’s taken 6 years to get to be living within our means, our current squad cost about 9.5 million and considering Fulham’s and Bournemouth are about 150 million we are doing far better than we should.
If we don’t go up this year then I would expect Willock , Chair l, Dickie and Dieng to all be sold for biggish money and we will start the cycle again, basically the Brentford model.
The fact Mel never paid the tax on your players wages probably shows that you have also been living beyond your means, hopefully when you come out of Admin ( I reckon you will) the new owner will run your club properly going forward.
The hardest part is getting some of the fans  onboard especially those vocal on Twitter etc who despite what you’ve been through will still be demanding a twenty goal a season striker no matter what it costs.
get it right over a couple of seasons and it will allow the odd luxury like Charlie Austin to have a serious crack of at least the play offs.

Completely accept that the LAP may have got the amortisation ruling wrong. But to suggest the EFL can’t challenge accounts because they have been audited definitely seems wrong - Enron (more recently Tesco) show why that’s the case

Maybe the HMRC informed the EFL that they would be suing them if they stopped Derby paying the TAX MAN - it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest

I think the sticking point for EFL is that Q wanted to compromise the offer by ignoring it. If it will be dealt with in full after arbitration (and after we leave administration) it is no longer avoiding it and increases the pot for current agreed creditors as it won’t be diluted by their claims

Well maybe you need a dose of reality - we are in genuine danger of being put out of business and hiding your head in the sand or attacking other posters while crying in your beer isn't going to change that.
If the worst happens I'm not giving up on watching football (though I've been termpted a number of times over recent seasons) but I will support my local club regardless (not just pick another club as you so glibly suggest). That may have to be Mickleover or it may be a phoenix club - but if that phoenix club represents the city and is in League 2, I'd suggest that is prefereable to starting in the 9th  tier as should probably be the case....It won't be the same club and those responsible will never be forgiven but sadly there's a damn good chance Derby County is in it's final season and people need to start thinking what happens in that case....

Idiots recording and uploading videos of the fans singing about partying when Gibson dies onto social media.

    Why?

Why can’t they just be normal rather than idiots?

Why do they think it’s useful to start alienating other fans when we need as many friends as possible in the footballing world right now?

That video is losing us sympathy left, right and centre at a time when we need to backing of our fellow football fans.  .

We need to flush these weasels out of the club or their loved ones need to ban them from drinking before the football.

And if you’re going to comment to say every club has this sort of fan then don’t bother, tired of making excuses based on the fact other clubs have fans who don’t know right from wrong after a shandy too.
