Love Theo he's in the team to cause a nusance be irratic and chase aimless long balls and knock in sitters if we lose Theo we would be at least 10 points worse of IMO. Let's not forget he's not a peno taker and doesnt get most of his goals from set peices most are from open play we just need to compliment him with somebody who heads in set peices and we won't be far off

While I don't think Theo is a great player, currently he is the only player in our squad who doesn't want to leave and can score goals therefore we shouldn't sell him. He isn't worth 1.5 million in reality 800k would be about right as he isn't a naturally gifted player and for touch wise etc he has probably got as good as he can get. I could see Wigan going for him as they love players like theo, look at victor moses etc, however Fulham looking is an awful rumour.

Jury is still out on Theo for me but there were signs of huge improvement throughout last season.

One thing that does amaze is that some people who moan about the manager and the board and lack of ambition would now be more than happy for us to let our top scorer go for peanuts!

He has raw pace and that worries defenders at any level. Look at some of the donkeys who have had decent careers out of it, also he seems to have the knack of finding space in the penalty area. I wouldnt say here is a hug difference between him and a young sturridge and he ended up ok

Ok people,

Grant Hoult and Danny Graham struggled early on in their careers. Danny Graham looked a right cart horse when on loan with the super rams didn't he.

Not really, i always rated the lad and remember saying he is a future premiership player.

Wouldn't say Danny G was a cart horse, he was in a pretty appauling team. Even El Hamdoui didn't do that good in the same season for us and he's been Everdises' top scorer once or twice!

I'd like to think for that money we could replace him easily and still have money to spare (if it happened). But with Savies leaving too, I could see a scenario where Nathan Tyson would be our only "senior" striker at the club having sold the 2 others and struggled to replace 'um. That would worry me.

1.5million for Theo... love the guy but 1.5millon! he is erratic, could easily go on next season and struggle to get into the team much like Maguire but then again, could easily go on to bag 20+ goals, because he has such up and down ability.

but for 1.5million, I would definitely sell but would remain a favourite of mine!

If he did improve his upper body strength a bit more, and could learn to shoot from more then 18 yards out, again his improvement would be vast and could well earn him another 4 or 5 goals next season. Seeing as he only started 27 games (39 overall), if he could start 40+ games, I do think he could get 20 goals.

There is potential, and if he improves further, and like I said does get a bit stronger and a bit more aggressive we could be onto a winner. Especially with a proven striker alongside him, he would get a lot of goals with rebounds/tap ins.

Fulham and Wigan Athletic are reported to be considering a £1.5m swoop for the pacy front man, though the Telegraph understands the Rams have had no contact with either club to date.

Derby manager Nigel Clough said last month that there had been some interest in Robinson, along with several other players.

Since the end of the season, the Rams have rejected a £1m-plus bid for central defender Jason Shackell, believed to be from Burnley, and two offers from Sheffield Wednesday for out-of-favour forward Chris Maguire.

Clough is also willing to listen to offers for Steve Davies, who has turned down a new deal, James Bailey, Miles Addison and Lee Croft.

Robinson finished joint top scorer with Davies on 12 goals in his first full season at Pride Park, having initially joined the club on loan from Millwall last February.

The former Watford and Huddersfield Town man signed a two-year contract with the Rams last summer, with the option of a further 12 months beyond that.

The 23-year-old has indicated that he is fully focused on life with the Rams and was recently quoted as saying: "It is always nice to hear clubs linked with your name but you can't really take too much notice of speculation.

"I'm just fully focused on performing and scoring goals for Derby County and hope to impress as each game goes by.

"I have learnt so much from the manager and coaches here and I am keen to keep scoring goals and continue my development with them."
