Andrew3000
He's transferring his form to mens footie. Sounds like he's got that scoring instinct, not just pace and power. Really promising, couldn't be more pleased. Crewton and DiggerB 1

Srg
A hat trick is a hat trick, but it was against a team from the NLN, a division lower than Gateshead. Let’s hope they give him a shot in the league.

Great he's found his scoring boots. Looks really promising. angieram and RoyMac5 1

If this loan allows him to feel more comfortable doing so, he's going to be some player. Ghost of Clough
Brown has earned a start in the league tonight. It would probably take a goal to keep his starting spot at the weekend.

angieram
This is great. I've put the posts about his international call-up in the Academy thread. Good to see Gateshead making such a fuss of him. Ghost of Clough, horizon, DavesaRam and 1 other 2 1
Carl Sagan
Should have called this thread something around Dajaune Brown - I thought at the time, other key U21s would be out on loan. Dajaune played the full game yesterday as Gateshead lost 4-2 away at Ebbsfleet. A Gateshead central defender was sent off after 5 minutes, so Brown's striking partner was sacrificed meaning it was probably a tough game. No goals for our boy, but Gateshead were 1-2 up at half-time. Guessing they ran out of steam. whiteroseram, Ghost of Clough and angieram 2
Carl Sagan
The question before us is, with Gayle presumably out, do we recall Dajaune from Gateshead for the Northampton game? Or do we rely on Waghorn, or NML, or try to play without a recognized striker?
