Would be good to see them back in some form before the first game of the season because losing 4 first team players from an already small squad is going to have an impact. There’s some sort of game going on especially if both clubs say nothing. But as you say they could have played 15 minute matches of attack and defence or helping each other out with formations and counter formations as you suggest; rather than just 90 mins head to head. Meh whatever. Anyway, Yorkshire round 2 on Saturday.
