In your Liverpool slums , you’ll look in a dustbin for something to eat , find a big rat and think it’s a treat in your Liverpool slums

sign on , sign on , with hope in your hearts and you”ll never work again

There's  a 2nd verse, though I can't recall us singing it. I probably heard it sung at Old Trafford.

In your Liverpool slums,

Your mum's on the game

And your dad's in the nick,

You can't get a job cuz you're too fkin thick,

In your Liverpool slums.

Apologies if any lyrics are wrong, but this is how I remember it.

We are the pride of the midlands, the c0ck of the north

We hate the scousers, the cockneys of course

We are the Derby and we are the best,

We are the Derby so fk all the rest!

B-b-b-b-back in the day, the last line was "and we are the champions, so ..."

(At the referee)

There's a long legged Bamford dressed in Black

Dressed in Black dressed in black, dressed in black, black, black. (repeat until bored)

Plenty at the referee back in the day which are never heard these days.  I remember regularly the Columbo terrace giving it this one ...

What shall we do with the referee

What shall we do with the referee

What shall we do with the referee

Earlie in the morning

Hang, Hang, Hang the bar steward (and repeat)

To the tune of "The Camptown Races"

Who's the copper with the helmet on do dah do dah day

On the beat all day, on the wife all night

I remember that as -

Who's that copper with the helmet on,

Dibble, Dibble is his name,

Who's that copper with the helmet on,

Dibble is his name,

On the beat all day, on the wife all night,

Who's that copper with the helmet on,

Dibble is his name.

What was that tune we used to whistle, as the rozzers walked around the perimeter in their droves?

*Obviously, I'm on about the name of the tune.  I can remember it, and am currently humming it in my head.  I'm not expecting anyone to try to whistle it on here!  ?

The Harry Roberts song didn't used to go down too well with the boys in blue...sang to the tune of "London Bridge is falling down"

Harry Roberts is our friend, is our friend,

Harry Roberts is our friend, he kills coppers.

Its a reference to a London gangster who shot a couple of police officers in the 1960's but was widely sang by football fans up and down the country in the 70's.

Ive had a beer inspired inspiration for a more pleasant variation of the Collymore song.

McFarland was a scouser

He wore a scousers hat

then he came to Derby,

and said "I fancy that"

He won the League with Cloughie

and then with Dave Mackay,

and now he'll sing the loudest

I'm Derby till I die.

Ohhhhhhh............

Would sound decent at Anfield in November.
