Saw one of the DCFC Twitterati suggest that Warne sent him back rather than him being recalled, not so sure because this seems like a potential headache for the rest of the window with our restrictions. Just wonder whether it’s the fact Collins is under contract, so longer term player; whereas Osula would have gone back the end of season. If there’s a marginal difference, do you go with your contracted player most of the time or risk demotivating him? Can imagine Collins would be a real bear with a sore head not playing. Agree though, if we don’t replace Will, it’s leaving us more exposed to injury issues; can’t see Warne would’ve sent him back for that sole reason. He then broke his jaw playing for the Development Squad (U21s?), so missed a couple of months and has only recently returned to playing games.
