I think he should have his own song, long overdue. I am less convinced by a money spinning testimonial (for him, or any footballer) but would happily contribute to a nice carriage clock for his mantelpiece. I’d love a testimonial for him, every player has a stinker now and then but, no matter, I love him. The guy who used to sit next to me used to shout abuse at him every game, thank god he’s now moved so I don’t have to ask him to shut up any more.
