What a day. Had beers with Dad and brother for the first time since February (in Derby - Dolphin, Silk Mill, Alex), got back to Brum, few more beers with friendly Bluenoses. Didn't know our score or the Dogs score. All of a sudden, phone goes mental.... the rest is history!!

What a night!! We needed this season of transition but my only fear was the red dogs would somehow pull it off. Instead they’ve done a bottle job of epic proportions and possibly greater than some of our efforts (don’t think it beats us in 14/15 though). They’ll sack lamouchi now and they’ll be ducked for another 10 years.

Then you look at us, another top 10 finish (8th in a row) when we’ve had everything thrown at us off the field, a clear rebuilding with focus on the academy, it looked at one stage like it could be a relegation scrap but we’ve watched this team grow through the season and it may be a pointless end of season game at Brum but it could be pivotal in our future. Rooney goes off at 1-1 handing the captaincy to Bird, Whittaker gets his first goal and another assist, Sibley scores another worldy!!! It’s time to get excited about this Derby team, hopefully built on more of the principles with which Nige and Mac built that team which has been the best since we’ve been back in championship.

And then to top it off, I put on radio notts for poops and giggles, Lamouchi has no words and walks off before the end of the interview with the question about Chris Martin’s goal being decisive being the tipping point!! They brought up Derby’s equaliser in the ducking interview ??????????
