Indeed. 

Thought he looked a better threat in the air too. Although as he'd not been on for long it took a couple of unrewarded wardrobes for him to realise the ref was letting a fair bit of pushy-shovey go.

In normal times you would think it is a no brainer especially with Marriott out. That leaves Whittaker and he seems the least ready of the young ones. This is not normal times and finances may well scupper the deal.

However, it is possible that the player would have to wait until next season to play for the club in question, as the deadline of today to agree an extension would have passed.
