This is terrible news. As a Warwickshire man, I have very fond memories of Bob Willis and I had a great sense of pride that such a player played for my county, even though we weren't very good at the time.

And who's ever going to forget his 8/43 against Australia?

I won't forget that performance. I can remember watching it all unfold on BBC. Neither will I forget happy hours with friends imitating his run up. I won't miss him as a pundit on Sky though. Too negative by half.

Sad news. Remember watching him and Botham taking on the Aussies when test cricket was on the bbc. Because of the wider coverage the whole nation seemed to get behind the team.

Bobs bowling was just as crucial as Beefy’s efforts in driving the team on to greatness.

Loved him as a cricketer and a pundit.

Every now and then a celebrity dies and it has a real impact on me. I felt a profound sadness when I heard he had died.

He always struck me as a nice man and this has been borne out by the tributes he has received. I will miss him.
